Some new products that I've been loving recently....

Over the last few weeks and months I've made some great new discoveries. The products aren't necessarily new to the market but new to me and I'm pretty sure that they'll be repurchases in the future. Given that I'm a beauty addict, I feel that it takes a lot for new products to impress me these days but these six really have. Read on to find out why......

Elemis Pro Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm: I used the original version of this cleansing balm on repeat for a few years around 10 years ago. Since then,  I have used it on and off and also tried the fig version (LOVE!) but I hadn't tried the rose one until around a month ago when I needed a new cleansing balm and this supersize one was on offer. I am so happy with it in so many ways: the scent (I love anything rose scented as long as it doesn't smell synthetic), the texture is so pliable and a pleasure to massage into the skin, its efficacy - it instantly dissolves makeup, SPF and any grime that may have been picked up during the day to leave the skin super clean, soft and plump! Winner!

Fresh Rose Instant Hydration Mist: Continuing the rose theme, I bought this a while ago when I needed a new mist. I have previously used the rose serum toner from this brand and loved it so assumed I'd love this mist too, which I do! Rosewater is known to be soothing and I find that it works really well on my reactive skin. It balances, hydrates and soothes the skin with just 2/3 spritzes. It's the perfect product to use after a cleanse or an acid product and I find that my serums and moisturiser apply beautifully after using this.

Murad Cellular Hydration Repair Mask: I mentioned previously that since starting my new treatment, my already dry skin even drier. I'm full of gratitude for the treatment and am seeing some encouraging improvements, so I won't moan about my skin but this product has been very welcome in my life! This mask not only hydrates (Hibiscus extract) and replenishes lost moisture in the skin and strengthens the skin barrier (Omegas 3+6), but it's also soothing and cooling (Canadian willowherb), which is very welcome when skin is feeling super dry (bordering on itchy!). I can definitely see myself repurchasing this and exploring the Cellular Hydration line more.

Trinny London The Elevator: I just fancied a change from my usual Prai neck serum so decided to give this a go! I've seen so may rave reviews about it and curiosity got the better of me. I don't think that my neck is too bad - no real signs of 'turkey neck', I have some lines but that's natural. When I'm using products to make my skin plumper, it's not that I'm 'anti-ageing' because I truly believe that it's a privilege to grow older, it's just that I want to keep my skin looking as youthful as possible without any needles etc. Each to their own with regards filler and botox and never say never, but I don't think it's for me. One of the first areas to show signs of ageing is the neck and it's an area that so many 'beauty gurus' on Instagram and TikTok forget when showing their skincare routines in videos. I don't understand it because it's so important to take care of the skin on your neck, whether you buy a separate serum or cream, or simply extend your regular skincare down your neck. What a tangent!! If you're still with me, I love this product. Despite my skin being so dry, my neck hasn't suffered and it's all thanks to The Elevator! You need to give it time but over 4/6 weeks, skin looks noticeably smoother and more supple. I love it and it's refillable, which is a huge plus! If you've any other products from this brand, please let me know what you'd recommend!

Jo Loves Christmas Tree Diffuser: I haven't bought a Christmas candle this year and decided to buy this diffuser refill instead. Jo Loves can do no wrong in my opinion! I love this scent because it doesn't smell like toilet cleaner as some pine scented products do! In fact, there's a hint of warmth about this, which makes the pine smell even fresher in contrast. I don't have a real Christmas tree and feel that this gives me the scent that I'm missing!

L'Occitane Kumquat Light Hand Cream: I always love to check out the limited edition festive scents at this time of year from L'Occitane and this year's selection didn't disappoint! This hand cream contains 5% shea butter, is nourishing and smells fresh & delicious as it's got a citrus twist. It's not too sharp or overpowering, which I love. This hand creams absorbs quickly and keeps my hands nourished without being greasy. You can't beat a hand cream from this brand - the perfect Christmas gift!

Have you made any beauty discoveries recently? I'd love to hear!
