My top five Autumn fragrances...

My top five Autumn fragrances 2023

You probably already know that I am a fragrance addict, and I tend to rotate them with the seasons, but narrowing it down to my top five favourites wasn't easy!  In Autumn I tend to gravitate towards warmer, musky scents to give the feeling of cosiness on a cold day (although we haven't had any truly cold days yet!). I do sometimes wish that I had a signature scent but I don't think that I could commit to just one fragrance for life!

Aerin Amber Musk: This is a beautifully creamy, warm, cosy fragrance that feels like a hug in a bottle. It's sensual and feminine but in a mature way.  Among the notes are coconut water, rose centfolia, sandalwood and musk and the combine to create the warm, soft and powdery fragrance. I adore this!

Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay: I like how this fragrance combines the sweetness of fruit with a sharp edge, which I think is ideal for daytime wear. It's light and inoffensive, which makes it ideal for office wear or somewhere where you will be in close proximity with people and want to smell nice but don't want to wear a heavy or overpowering scent.

Maison Margiela Replica Lazy Sunday Morning:  This is a beautiful, easy to wear fragrance. It manages to be both fresh and musky, clean and cosy. It contains notes of pear, rose, orange blossom, musk and lily of the valley and they combine to create a feminine, lightly floral but also musky fragrance.

Armani Si Eau De Parfum Intense*: This is a new addition to the Si family and is utterly divine! It contains notes of blackcurrant, rose, davana, vanilla and patchouli among others to create a sweet, floral and musky scent that really envelopes you. It's my go-to "happy" fragrance at the moment because it instantly lifts my spirits, makes me feel motivated and cosy at the same time. You need to smell this! It's a refillable fragrance, which I love and wish more brands did the same. The bottle is beautiful and looks very luxurious with the gold lettering and signature stone shaped lid

Prada Paradoxe*: Another refillable fragrance, this manages to be sweet, floral and warm all at the same time. It's my favourite fragrance from the brand because it isn't as sweet as others I've tried, which makes it feminine but in a more sophisticated way but I'd also describe it as fun. It has notes of pear, tangerine, bergamot, orange blossom, amber, musk and vanilla among others. It's the fruitiest of all of the fragrances in this post but I do love the musky dry down. I also love the logo shaped bottle.

Do you change fragrance seasonally? I'd love to hear your favourite for Autumn?
