Have you entered my Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona palettes giveaway here?
I go through phases of using the same products on repeat and then switching it up regularly. Today I'm sharing five products that I am reaching for pretty much every time I do my makeup! Spot any faves?
Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect: This is actually a bit of a re-discovery for me and I don't know why I neglected it for a while. It's part of her K.I.S.S.I.N.G. line, which is quite creamy in texture with a satin finish. The shade itself is a coral-pink hybrid, which is perfect for Spring! It lasts around 4 hours on the lips, sometimes a little longer if I apply liner all over the lips first. I also love to combine it with Clarins Natural Lip Perfector in Rose Shimmer, which helps my lips to look fuller!
Beauty Bakerie Lollipop Liner*: This liner was part of a set, which was kindly gifted to me before Christmas by Look Fantastic. Regular readers will know how fussy I am with liquid liners as I have the delightful combination of oily lids and watery eyes but this doesn't budge. It also glides on, is really black and has a fine tip, which makes application very easy. Use the code LYMIN to receive 20% discount if you want to buy.
Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation: I think this foundation was released late last year but it was only in January that I decided to take the plunge and buy it as the whole self refreshing idea intrigued me. It's an oil-free foundation, available in 30 shades and is said to be suitable for all skin types. It also contains SPF 30 and is waterproof - sounds miraculous, right? The finish is semi-matte but quite natural overall and the coverage is a solid medium, although can be built in certain areas for extra coverage, if required. I haven't worn it for 24 hours but I can attest to the fact that it looks exactly the same when I remove it as it does when I apply it. It contains ActiveForce technology, which is what helps the foundation to self-refresh. To do this, it is said to adapt to your own skin's condition, texture and tone, which helps it to synchronise with the skin. I'm no scientist but this works!! If you want a foundation that will look look natural, be budge proof, not feel heavy and one that won't sink into fine lines or pores, then I highly recommend trying this. I'm eyeing up the matching concealer! Use the code LYMIN to receive a 20% discount.
Marc Jacobs See-Quins Star Dust Glam Glitter Eyeshadow: I fell in love with this shade back in Rome in December but it was sold out in all Sephoras - I managed to nab it in the sale online when we got home and I was delighted. I love the glittery lid but it's the product inside that I adore! It's a gorgeous deep coral shade, which applies beautifully with either my finger or a flat shader brush but for extra intensity, a damp brush will amplify the glitter. There is surprisingly minimal fallout given that it's a loose glitter, although it is densely packed and soft to touch.
Essie Lovie Dovie Nail Polish: This pink shade screams Spring to me (although I've been wearing it for a few months) and I get compliments on it all of the time. It's a candy pink shade that lasts a good 5/6 days on me without chipping (although I do always wear a top coat!). I think it would flatter most skin tones.
Have you tried any of these? What are your current loves? I'd love to hear!
Thanks for reading!
