It's quite a while since I posted a haul on here! I managed to get a few bargains in the summer sales and I picked up a few bits in Duty Free last month so I thought that I'd put them all together into one big haul, some with initial impressions but others I haven't tried yet. Let's get started!
Makeup:
MAC Lingering Eyebrow Pencil: I like to buy MAC products in Duty Free because there's usually at least a 15% saving. It's years since I used this but I was browsing the MAC in Duty Free and decided to pick it up. I like how fine the nib is on this pencil and this shade is the perfect match for me.
MAC Lip Pencil Subculture: This is a peachy lip pencil and I don't have anything similar in my collection but I know it will work well with some of my lipsticks so I had to buy it.
Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette: I bought this as soon as I received notification of the pre-release date. I love a good warm toned palette and I generally like the formula of Urban Decay shadows so this was an obvious one for me. Expect a review soon!
Natasha Denona Contour Sculpting Powder: Because I love the texture of Natasha Denona Face Glow Powder, I wanted to give this Contour Powder a try (to be honest, I wanted to buy the Sculpt & Glow Palette but by the time I reached checkout, it was sold out!). At the moment, it's probably a bit too light for my skin because I'm just back from holiday but I will definitely get a lot of use out of this product.
Natasha Denona Duo Glow Rayo: Again, because I love her Face Glow Powder, I wanted to try one of her Duo Glows but would have preferred Alba, which is the coral shade. Having said that, I really like this pink and it looks good on my slightly tanned skin (I always wear SPF 30 or 50 on my face but still get some colour). As with the highlighter and contour powders, this is buttery soft and applies beautifully. It is a hybrid of blush and highlighter and at the moment, I'm loving it!
Skincare:
Sarah Chapman Morning Facial & Overnight Facial: This set also contained a 15ml sample of Age Repair Serum but it isn't pictured. This set is amazing value - usually each of these products are priced at £49 each but I managed to buy this set for less than £45 - it has now increased to £51.50, which is still a brilliant price. I have used and loved both of these products previously - they are intensely nourishing and the result is always glowing, plump skin!
This Works No Wrinkles Night Repair: The Space NK summer sale has been amazing this year and I picked up a few skincare products at 50% off. I have't tried this yet as I already have quite a few skincare items open but I am excited to use it because I really love This Works products.
Zelens Power A High Potency Vitamin A (Retinol) Treatment Drops: Another Space NK bargain and another product that I haven't used yet because I already have two retinol products open but I am really looking forward to using it. The entire Zelens range is reduced on Space NK and I am tempted to buy the Power D Drops next because Anne from Linda Libra Loca highly recommends them and that lady knows her stuff when it comes to skincare - I absolutely love her indepth reviews.
Roloxin Lift Instant Smoothing Mask: Again, this was a Space NK bargain. I've wanted to try these masks for the longest time because Tati recommends them and have you seen her skin?! I will report back when I have used them.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Recovery Mask in Oil: I bought this in Duty Free because there was a saving of over €10 on it and I have wanted it since it was released. Advanced Night Repair is my all time favourite skincare product so I have high hopes for this mask in oil. I will obviously let you know my thoughts when I've given it a good test.
Perfume:
Jo Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarin 100ml: My husband very kindly treated me to a bottle of this in Duty Free and I was delighted because I haven't had it in my life since late last year and I have missed it. It is a refreshing, uplifting, invigorating scent and I absolutely adore it.
If you've made it to the end of this post, well done and thank you! Have you tried any of these products? Did you get any bargains in the summer sales? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
