The festive season has well and truly begun and while I can't say that I will be partying hard this Christmas, I will definitely be wearing a bit of sparkle on my eyes over the next week or two! For irresistible twinkly eyes, you can't beat Charlotte Tilbury Pop Shots! I have four shades and want to tell you why you need one in your life...
First up I have to talk about the packaging! I adore how festive/disco these are with coloured sequins on the gold lid with starburst embossing. The colours are reminiscent of fairy lights from the '80s and '90s or Quality Street wrappers when they used to be shiny! The cases themselves are quite sturdy with a mirror to fit the lid.
The formula of the shadows is creamy, buttery soft with a smooth finish that applies beautifully to the lid without any glitter fall down - essential for sensitive eyes. They're really pigmented so I would advise applying cautiously with the brighter colours and building up to the finish you like.
The shades I have are Cosmic Rocks, which is a duochrome shadow that shifts between a greeny blue and a purple. It's definitely a statement shadow!
I also have Ultra Violet, which is exactly as described - a multi-dimensional violet shade that looks amazing with green eyes to make them pop!
Rose Gold is probably the most universally wearable shade that I have from this line. It's a medium, warm gold shade that will flatter all eye colours. Perfect for a touch of daytime glam!
Emerald Eyes is my most recent purchase (I'm a sucker for a green eyeshadow). It's an olive green with a fine gold and emerald shimmer running through it.
I can't pick a favourite and at this point, am wondering if I will eventually end up owning all shades because the formula is beautiful and they're such an easy way to get glam for a day or night out - or basically at any stage over the festive season!
Which shade is your favourite? I'd love to hear!
