My favourite Summer Fridays products

My favourite Summer Fridays products

Summer Fridays is having a moment thanks to its new lip oils (which I need to try) and I have to say that it's a brand that I really rate.  Created by two influencers, it began with just one product (Jet Lag Mask) and has grown steadily since then. I've tried quite a few products from the brand and thought I'd share some of my favourites with you today and tell you why they made the cut,

Lip Butter Balm: Available in eight colours/flavours/scents (unsure exactly which description fits, but maybe they all do!), these buttery balms are a saviour for dry lips. They are made from a combination of seed butters and vegan waxes and are intensely nourishing without leaving the lips overly greasy or sticky. They add a hint of colour to the lips and look good worn alone or with a smudged out lip liner for some gentle. definition on the lips. The main thing is that they work!

CC Me Serum: This serum contains both Vitamin C and niacinamide, which is ideal for brightening the complexion, evening out skin tone, improving texture and reducing hyperpigmentation. It also contains squalane, which helps to boost hydration, so this really is a one and done serum because it addresses pretty much every issue that your skin could have on a daily basis. Obviously, consistent use is necessary to achieve the best results and as with all Vitamin C products, once open it needs to be used or it will eventually oxidise but I haven't found that to happen when using every day.

Jet Lag Mask: The original product from the brand and. still one of my favourites! This isn't just for flights, or after travel. It's perfect for tired or stressed out skin that needs a boost. Its aim is to nourish, calm and brighten the skin. It contains Vitamin C, niacinamide, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, cucumber extracts and more. Yes, it's the ideal mask to apply on a long hail flight but it also works brilliantly as a pick me up for the skin, or as an overnight mask, which is my favourite method of use. It feels so nourishing on the skin and leaves it feeling plump and comfortable, and looking radiant. If your skin is stressed out or compromised, you need to give this a go!

Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution: Disappointingly, this appears to have been discontinued as it's out of stock on every site that I checked! I absolutely love this exfoliating tonic and would definitely rate it as one of the best I've ever used. It contains 16% AHAs in the form of lactic and glycolic acids, but it also contains humectants so the skin is left feeling balanced, rather than stripped, and it really makes a difference to the skin in terms of texture and the appearance of pores. It has a serum-like texture and I never found it to tingle but my skin is well accustomed to acids whereas those new to acids would need to work their way up to daily use. If you can somehow get your hands on this, I highly recommend it.

On my 'to buy' list are the lip oils and skin tint. Have you tried these? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Available from Cult Beauty and Space NK.
