I don't know about you but I get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Black Friday emails that are in my inbox! Most are of no interest to me as they're similar to what is offered throughout the year but I had to share the codes in today's post with you because they are actually an increase on the usual discounts and both products are splurges but worth the money. CurrentBody have been kind enough to increase my discount from 15% to 20% on their CurrentBody Skin products (the LED mask worked absolute wonders on my hyperpigmentation, as you'll see below) and 20% discount on ZIIP products. These codes are valid until November 30th, at which point they will return to 15% and 10% respectively. The codes you need at checkout are LYMINCB for the CurrentBody Skin products and LYMINZIIP for the ZIIP products. Read on for why I think they are worth the investment...
Hyperpigmentation has been the bane of my life for around 6/7 years now. It's probably been caused by not wearing SPF daily when I was younger (only on sunny days), the pill and other medication, but it really showed itself suddenly after a holiday where I was wearing SPF 50 and was in the shade but was also on medication that makes the skin more vulnerable to sun damage. It seemed like suddenly out of nowhere, there were these patches on my face and even my niece who was four at the time commented on them! Every summer, they reappear and I hate them! We all have things that bother us whereas they may not bother others, but for me, I hated seeing them daily. I did a thorough test of the CurrentBody LED Light Therapy Face Mask (review here) and was super impressed with the results. My hyperpigmentation went from this:
to this:
I am honestly astounded by the results and couldn't be happier, so whilst I know that the mask is on the quite pricey, I think it's absolutely worth the money given the results, and even more so with the discount, which can be used on any of the devices within the CurrentBody Skin range. I have my eye on the LED Neck and Dec Protector next because that's the first are to show signs of ageing (well, that and the hands but they have a device for those too!)
Next up is the ZIIP Halo Facial Toning Device, which I have only recently started to use so a full review will follow in due course but so far I can tell you that this is the device for you if you are starting to see signs of the dreaded jowls and just want a more lifted appearance to the face overall. It uses both micro and nano currents, which means it will give both instant and long term results. It comes with a complex gel, which you apply to the skin and then use the device in an upward motion on the jawline, cheeks and nose, then the forehead. It only takes 4 minutes, so it's pretty easy to fit into your routine and it can be used 3-5 times weekly. If you feel that your skin is looking a little drab or tired, or maybe before a night out when you want to give your skin a boost, this is a great device to use because of the instant lifting effect that it gives. I am really looking forward to seeing the longer term results because nothing looks more youthful than lifted skin (without the face lift!).
CurrentBody also have a huge number of other offers on skincare brands and devices, including FOREO, Sarah Chapman, NuFace and more! Check them out here.
Do you have a wishlist for Black Friday? I think that it's a great time to invest in pricier items that aren't discounted throughout the year!
