The Moor Cream Cleanser and Rejuvenating Night Cream were kindly gifted to me, without obligation. |
Last week, I shared my morning skincare routine (here) using only Omorovicza products and today, I'm sharing my evening routine, which features the brand exclusively and has a few more options. I also have a discount code - SIOBHAN10 and this can be used on all full price products to save 10%.
Double Cleanse: I begin with Thermal Cleansing Balm, which removes SPF, makeup and general daily grime! This really is one of my favourite balm cleansers ever because I just adore how it melts everything away and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I then go in for a second cleanse with the Moor Cream Cleanser*. This cleanser deeply cleanses the skin and is brilliant to use if skin is looking congested, although it's gentle (I find all Omorovicza products to be gentle and effective), so it doesn't irritate my skin at all and is the perfect second cleanse to the balm.
Omoressence: No surprise here! I just adore this essence and I really do find essences help keep my skin's hydration levels up. This particular one is soothing too, which helps my reactive skin. I apply it, then brush my teeth while I let it settle and then proceed with the rest of my routine.
Options: This is where things vary, depending on what my skin needs at any given time.
Acid Fix: This contains a combination of glycolic and lactic acids, which exfoliate the skin on a surface level, however it also contains salicylic acid, which is oil soluble and can penetrate the pores more deeply to clear out any sebum or grime, which may develop into spots. It has a pipette dispenser and I tend to use 2/3 drops, applying all over my face, particularly focusing on my jawline, and then follow with a moisturiser. Regular use of this (not nightly) will leave skin looking clear, with refined pores and feeling smooth and soft.
Midnight Renewal: No evening routine of mine would be complete without a retinoid product in it (although not on the same night as the previous treatment and upcoming mask). This is a highly effective serum, with a patented delivery system that doesn't release the retinal (more effective than retinol) isn't released until it actually penetrates the skin. What I love about this is that it doesn't irritate my skin, or make it peel (it contains polyglutamic acid, which holds 10 times more moisture than hyaluronic acid), it leave my skin looking fresh, it refines pores, protects against UV damage, and leaves my skin looking brighter and more even overall. It doesn't do all of this after one use - you need to be consistent with it. You can use alone, or follow with a moisturiser.
Midnight Radiance Mask: It will come as no surprise that I am mentioning this mask because I have raved about it so many times on the blog. It's one of my favourite EVER skincare products because it guarantees me a good skin day the morning after use. It contains salicylic acid, which deeply penetrates the pores, removing any excess sebum, to prevent spots, but also to help clear them more quickly. It also contains sodium hyaluronate and red alga, which lock moisture into the skin, and sand lily, which helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots. The morning after use, my skin looks brand new - rested, clear (almost translucent), with refined pores. It's a miracle worker!
Moisturiser: Rejuvenating Night Cream*: The latest addition to my evening routine, which is super nourishing, soothing, plumping and reparative. It contains hazelnut peptides, which help to plump the skin, almond and carrot oils, which help to protect against free radicals and encourage the production of elastin. It has a rich texture but it absorbs quickly and doesn't pill when layered over other products. It's perfect for this time of year, as the temperature has finally dropped and my super dry skin needs a nourishing moisturiser to keep it supple and plump. This will be repurchased for sure!
