Some current beauty loves.......

Some current beauty loves

I've found myself using some products on constant rotation in recent weeks, ones that I reach for pretty much daily, without even thinking about it. They're constants for a reason - my skin loves them, they are easy to apply and require very little effort to make. me look put together. Rather than individual review posts, I thought I'd put them all together in one and tell you why I love them so much.

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment*: This brand came back into my life this year and I really don't know why I had abandoned it for a few years - the lure of new products, I guess, but I have found over the past few months, that sometimes the brands that stand the test of time, do so for a reason. This is actually a new product from the brand, but from first use, I fell head over heels. Some people don't see the point in eye creams but in my opinion, they just haven't found the right one, or else they're young, and it's years later that they will realise the benefits. I started to use eye creams in my early 20s and it certainly shows now. This eye serum has the most beautiful texture - very light and melts into the skin, acting more like a very lightweight cream than a serum. It's ideal for both day and night time use, feels soothing and instantly hydrates the skin, without leaving the feeling of a layer of product. Skin feels softer and lines look smoother. It really is pretty much the perfect eye cream.

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream*: I first tried this either late last year, or early this year (I'm unsure which because, to be honest, the last 2 years all blur into one for me now!), and instantly fell in love. I would go as far as saying that this is probably my favourite moisturiser. My very awkward, dry, reactive skin, just loves it! It, of course, contains hyaluronic acid, but also contains jasmonic acid, which I hadn't heard of prior to using this cream. This ingredient is soothing and repairing, but it also increases elasticity in the skin, which I think is the main reason that I love this moisturiser so much. I use it daily, and my skin is visibly firmer and plumper, plus is looks more radiant. It's not just my imagination, as other people have said to me that I'm glowing and that my skin is looking great and I 100% know that it's due to this moisturiser and eye treatment - everything just looks fresher.

Supergoop Glow Screen: I think that this mini was in an Advent Calendar, and I only recently started to use it because I had packed my usual SPF, but knew I needed one that I could top up on the flight, as I had a window seat. This 15ml is ideal for hand luggage, and whilst it does give the skin a little glow, it doesn't look fake and pearlescent. It absorbs easily, doesn't look greasy and gives the skin a healthy and fresh look, whilst protecting it. I'm very loyal to my face SPF, but a repurchase of the full size of this is very tempting!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Hydrating Primer: I was recently sent this, but I already had a tube, so it reminded me to finish it, which I am trying to do with a few primers at the moment. This is ideal for those with normal/dry skin, as it glides on, hydrates the skin without feeling greasy, but what I also love it that all foundations apply beautifully over it. It provides the perfect smooth, hydrating, fresh canvas for my skin, and all foundations, regardless of finish, apply evenly over this primer.

YSL NU Bare Look Tint*: Speaking of foundations, this new release is perfect for summer! It can be used as a tinted moisturiser, for a barely there look, but also layers well for some more coverage, which I love, as my freckles can still be seen, yet my skin looks even. There are 20 shades available, and it's very much a skincare/makeup hybrid product, as it contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and is comprised of 90% skincare products. I like to apply and blend with my fingers, and I will sometimes finish with a beauty sponge, but I find the warmth of my fingers helps it mesh with my skin. Not for those who like full coverage, but a definite must-try for those who love a natural, radiant base.

Natasha Denona Need A Nude Lip Crayon NP1 Natasha: You know I'm a massive fan of Natasha's eyeshadows (and she does highlighters very well), but over the last few years, I've pretty much ignored/skipped her other releases, as I find that other brands can do lips and cheeks better. That said, my friend told me that her new lip pencils are good, so I decided to try one, and she wasn't wrong. Her old lip liners were a little stiff and dragged a little on the lips, whereas this is soft and comfortable to wear. They are really nice worn alone, with a little bit of lip balm dabbed over, for a natural look, or as a traditional lip liner, with a variety of nude shades.

Lancaster Aftersun Tan Maximiser: I've raved about this for years and I can't see myself changing to another after sun. It absorbs quickly, isn't greasy, and really does extend your tan (I still slather myself in SPF & top up regularly), but also makes skin more supple.
