My Armani Beauty splurge (and save 20%!)

Armani Beauty Discount

Armani Luminous Silk is my most repurchased foundation, so when when I was buying it recently, I decided to purchase a few other products from the brand too, because for some reason, I hadn't really explored the brand very much, despite loving the foundation so much! My LYMIN code worked, which saved me 20% when I purchased on Look Fantastic, and you know I can't resist a good deal, so I bought a few things that I've had my eye on for a while. Sometimes, the brand is already reduced, but if you find that it isn't, then using my code will save you 20%.

Luminous Silk: I've seen people with all skin types talk about this foundation, however I think that if you have oily skin, Lasting Silk might be a better option, although it would work with a mattifying primer and powder. The reason that I keep repurchasing this foundation, despite having (and using) others, is because of the dependability. I know that I can apply this quickly and it will look like I have spent ages blending it to perfection. I also love how it glides over any textured or porous areas, doesn't cling to any dry patches, and lasts really well on the skin. I also love the finish - it's luminous without looking overly dewy - it basically looks like healthy skin. I will forever repurchase it, although I'll always wish for a return of their Healthy Glow Foundation, which they discontinued in around 2007/8.

Luminous Silk Glow Powder: For someone who used to hate powders, I've built up a nice little collection now! I wouldn't really describe this as a setting powder - it's more a finishing powder, which ads a subtle glow to the skin. It makes the skin look healthy, but isn't shimmery, so it's suitable for daytime wear, as well as night-time. It's so lightweight, that you literally don't feel it on your skin and it's also undetectable when you look at the skin, so you don't need to worry about a powdery finish, which is ageing, especially if you have dry skin. It's also refillable, and has a soft brush in a section under the powder and a mirror inside the lid.

A-Highlight: This is a really natural highlight, it really does make the skin look lit from within, it blends into the skin so easily, to give the skin a very subtle, natural, healthy look. It has a doe foot applicator, which allows you to build from a tiny amount, if you aren't really a highlighter fan. There are a few shades available, but I love shade 10, as it's a champagne shade, which suits my skin tone. I think that if you have mature skin and tend to shy away from highlighters, this is the product for you and you will really see how it lifts the skin, without looking like a disco ball!

Eyes To Kill Stellar Shadow: You know I'm all about the easy eye look these days, so these shadows are perfect because they can be applied with your finger, or a flat shader brush. They layer well, if you want to build up the intensity, for a night out, but one swipe and you're done for day time. They have a gel texture, which transforms to powder once applied, and all shades have a shimmery finish, but don't let that put you off if your lids aren't crease-free, because it's a sophisticated shimmer - again, no disco ball effect!

Eyes To Kill Designer Eyeliner:It's a while since I last used a liner with a flexible tip like this one, but I'm enjoying it, because I can reach the inner corners, without any smudging. I can also achieve a very fine line, or build up to a proper cat eye look. The one thing to be careful of is that this does.not budge, so you can't make a mistake, so I'd recommend taking it slow and steady. The great part of it not budging is that, even with my oil lids and watery eyes, I can depend on this to last all day/evening, without budging and it would be the perfect liner for a night out. Just be sure you have a steady hand, or lean on your dressing table, when applying.

Eccentrico Mascara: I've had this mascara before, and I loved it even though I didn't expect to, as I'm not a fan of plastic wands, in general, but there are some exceptions. This mascara is pretty magical in how it transforms the lashes - it gives length and volume, and an overall glam, false lash effect. It doesn't flake, smudge, or make the lashes crispy, plus it's not a huge job to remove it (one of my bugbears!).

Armani Lip Power Lipstick

Lip Power Lipstick: I think that this is a new range of lipsticks and I had a mini that I received as a sample, loved how comfortable it felt on the lips and now have a list of shades that I want. Of course, I went for a classic nude, however I definitely want to pick up a nice berry shade for Autumn. The finish is satin and the pigmentation is spot on - one swipe is sufficient, but you can go in with a second if you wish, without is being uncomfortable or pilling. It contains oils, which makes it very comfortable to wear and the only con to that, is that the wear time is only a few hours, but it's easy to top up, due to the shape of the bullet, which also helps precise application. I really love this lipstick and would recommend it if you're looking to treat yourself, or for a gift for a luxury makeup lover.

Overall, I'm delighted with my little haul and it has just made me want to try more!
