Some current loves....

Anything marked with a * was kindly gifted to me, without obligation.

It's a while since I did one of these posts and I have a number products that I'm using consistently, and loving! Some I have had for a while and two are new, as they were birthday gifts last weekend. If anything was sent to me, it will be marked with a * and I'm not obliged to post about them - I just love them! I have ten products, so let's get into it....

Mor Emporium Classic Lychee Candle, hand and body wash and hand cream*: I am absolutely OBSESSED with the scent of these products - lightly sweet and fruity, but not overpowering. The candle throws off so much scent, even when unlit, and makes the room smell so fresh. The hand cream is nourishing, but not greasy (Mor hand creams are in my top three brands) and the body wash is divine - the perfect scent to start your day! I love the packaging, it looks so luxe, but the products are affordable. You can't go wrong with anything from this Australian brand!

Bali Body Gradual Face Tan*: I fake tan weekly, but I don't use my body tan on my face. I  do use tanning drops, but it can be tricky to get the right number of drops to match my body tan, plus I need to use a very plain moisturiser without any actives, otherwise the result is streaky! This product is the perfect solution, as the tanning agent is already in the moisturiser, in the correct quantity, plus the moisturiser is hydrating, whereas some tans are drying. I use 2 pumps every second or third night, to maintain a golden glow. I could imagine this being very popular not just in summer, but in the colder months, just to add some life to the skin. It's a hassle-free way to achieve a light golden glow. I use it at night, however I've often used it in the morning when I know I'm staying at home/indoors for the day and I have a light glow by evening time.

L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Purple Anti-Brassiness Hair Oil*: This is currently half price in Boots in the UK and Ireland and it is a MUST HAVE if you have any blonde in your hair - whether it's balayage, natural blonde, highlights, or all over colour! This is a game changer and so affordable. So, we all know that purple hair products neutralise the brassy tones in blonde hair, but they are usually in the form of shampoo and conditioner (which are also available in this range), but this oil is applied to damp hair, before blow-drying. Don't worry, it won't stain your hands, despite being purple in colour. The difference it makes to hair is quite remarkable - hair looks like it has been freshly toned at the salon, something I might expect from a shampoo or conditioner, but not from a hair oil. It has blown me away!

Kiehl's Amino Acid Conditioner*:  I used to always use hair masks instead of conditioner, as generally, the latter wouldn't be rich enough for my dry, frizzy hair. That has changed with this conditioner, which leaves me hair feeling like silk and it also strengthens my hair. I love how soft my hair is when I use this and can't stop touching it. It contains amino acids (as the name suggests), to strengthen the hair, wheat protein, which reduces frizz, and jojoba oil, which nourishes the hair. Plus best of all, I can buy refill packs, which helps reduce plastic waste! I need to try the shampoo next. Available in Space NK and Arnotts.

At1 Deep Cleansing Balm*: This is a new brand that I am trying and there will be a full review coming soon. Some products are more suited to my skin than others, but this cleansing balm is absolutely dreamy. It melts ALL makeup - even stubborn mascara, without the need for tugging on the gentle eye area, and all SPF and foundation etc is eliminated so easily. It has a balm texture, but is made from oils, so it turns from a balm to an oil as you massage it in (to dry skin), then you emulsify with water and remove all residue with a cloth. It's gone straight into my top three cleansing balms of all time and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts on the rest of the line towards the end of the month.

NYK1 Lash Force Eyelash Growth Serum: I was sent a tube of this ages ago and this is my second repurchase (I used the code Zarrine10 to save 10%). I started using it during one of the lockdowns, when I was missing my lash extensions and I haven't looked back. I get so many compliments on my lashes now - they're so long, and they feel strong and flexible, if that makes sense?! I have very sensitive eyes, but haven't had any issues with this serum. The key is consistency - I leave it with my skincare so that I will remember to use it both morning and night.

Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk: I'm really into this brand at the moment - I have three of their fragrances and love them all equally. Each one leaves me wanting to try another! This is very much a summer scent, as the name suggests (I really miss the heatwave!!) - it combines notes of bergamot, pink pepper, coconut and ylang ylang (a combination that I always enjoy), and base notes of cedar and musk. It just smells like a summer evening, on holiday, when you go for a walk along the beach (either after a meal, or before getting ready to go out - depending on your age!) - crisp, yet coconutty, but not quite Bronze Goddess - it's more subtle than that. I love that this brand sells 30ml bottles and would love to hear any suggestions for an Autumn/Winter fragrance from the brand, if you have any?

Huda Beauty Kayali Déjà Vu White Flower Hair Mist: I re-discovered  this recently and I'm loving it. I don't have any Kayali fragrances, but would be tempted to buy one after using this. I try to wash my hair just once a week (although it's tricky if you have to go somewhere midweek, or during the heatwave, for example, when hair gets greasy more quickly), so usually, I use some dry shampoo and then I will use some of this mist. It really freshens up my hair - it isn't a dry shampoo, so has no effect in that regard, but it gives your hair that freshly washed scent. The fragrance is quite warm and sensual, yet also fruity and a little floral - sounds strange, but it's the only way I can describe it! This could easily be worn as a body mist and it isn't too big, so could fit in a handbag to freshen up after work (if you're back in the office), before going for dinner or drinks (or in my case, just to freshen up my greasy hair. far less glam!).

Valentino Rockstud Crossbody Bag: I can't find an exact link to this bag, but have linked to a black version if you're interested in getting one yourself. I love this style of camera bag as they're the perfect size for me and I love crossbody bags. I didn't have any metallic bags and had wanted one, so my husband very kindly treated me to this for my birthday. It holds all of my essentials and is perfect with an all black or all white outfit. I love the classic Valentino stud detail, and am very grateful to have received this and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it.

Retro Sweets Hamper: Another birthday gift and what a treat it is! I love retro sweets, and whilst this isn't something I'd buy for myself, it is a very welcome treat! Obviously, I'll share.........maybe!
