Every Spring/Summer, face palettes are one of the most popular beauty releases, which makes sense because having a bronzer, blush and highlighter in one palette is very convenient, particularly if you are travelling. Whenever I go on holiday, or for a weekend away, I always take a palette like this, for convenience. Today, I'm sharing my top three of the new releases. You obviously don't need three...... I just have a bit of a problem!
Marc Jacobs O?Mega x Three Powder Blush-Bronze-Highlight Palette: This is a gorgeous palette for those with light/medium tone skins, but there is also one for deeper skin tones available too. The texture of these powders is so finely milled that they really are a dream to work with. The colours really compliment each other and blend into the skin so easily, without leaving any muddy look. By Terry Brightening CC Palette Beach Bomb: I adore everything about this palette - the pattern on the outside, the rose patterns on the powders and the light rose scent from them too - DIVINE! It might look like the pans are too small to get a brush into, but I haven't found that to be the case at all. I tend to use the coral blush, highlighter and bronzer more than I do the bright pink blush, but I think that if we ever go for out for dinner again, I'd wear the brighter pink as it would look good with a full face of makeup. Actually, it could look pretty with minimal makeup and just a slick of mascara too, with the blush being the focus. Anastasia Beverly Hills Off To Costa Rica: Available in three colour ways, I chose the medium trio, as that's what suits my skin best. The packaging is beautiful - a gold glitter, but it's smooth, so the glitter won't fall off over time. Inside the lid is a mirror, which is a pretty good size. I like that the bronzer is the biggest pan, because that is probably what I will use most quickly. The highlight and blush pans are the same size, but I think I will probably use the blush faster than the highlight. I know that 'buttery soft' and 'finely milled' are phrases that are used very frequently, but these really are the perfect terms for these powders. The pigmentation is perfect - not too heavy that you will look like a clown, but enough that one swipe is enough, or you could build if you wanted to. Another hit from ABH!
IT Cosmetics and Charlotte Tilbury also offer all in one face palettes, if none of these are to your taste.
Do you like all in one face palettes? Have any of these caught your eye? I'd love to hear!
