Dermalogica Melting Moisture Masque - my favourite skincare discovery of 2021 so far!

Dermalogica Melting Moisture Masque Review
This product was kindly gifted to me, without obligation, as part of Dermalogica's Skinfluencer campaign.

It takes a lot for me to say that a product that I have only been using for 3/4 weeks, is my favourite skincare discovery of the year so far, but this mask has blown me away! For reference, I have dry skin, which is also dehydrated at times, I'm also ill and I'm on a lot of medication, so I need to be very consistent in taking care of my skin. That said, there are still times when my skin goes through bad periods of dullness and  dry patches, regardless of how diligent I am. If you have skin like mine, you are going to LOVE Dermalogica Melting Moisture Masque*!

Dermalogica is a brand that I have been using for 18 years now! (Read post here) I'm lucky enough to be sent some of their new releases, but I'm also happy to spend my own money on the products, as I have done for years, because it's a brand that really works for my skin. If you have a Dermalogica salon near you, I would highly recommend booking in for a facial, as they do face-mapping, which tells you which products you need for certain areas of your face, and they are always generous with samples.

Their latest release is their Moisture Melting Masque, which is a buttery, balm texture, which transforms into an oil, when massaged into the skin. I love that it comes in a bottle with a pump, to ensure it's kept fresh, although (it may be just me), I find the pump a little stiff sometimes. A little goes a long way with this, due to the fact that it transforms into an oil, and it is activated by the skin's natural heat, so I wouldn't waste product by warming in your hands first.

The ingredient list contains Vitamin E (an anti-oxidant, to protect against environmental damage), Lionleic Acid (which nourishes the skin), Shea Butter (which is extremely nourishing and used to be a big no-no for my skin, but somehow I don't have any reaction to it these days), fatty acids, such as jojoba esters and sunflower seed wax, as well as anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as rosemary oil and lemon seed oil.

It is the most divine mix of ingredients and the combination instantly soothes, nourishes, hydrates and plumps the skin. My skin has never felt softer. The directions say to use once or twice weekly, as needed, but I would wear this from head to toe every night,  if I won the lottery! It is the best product that you could ever apply to dry, irritated, parched or skin that is in need of a boost! 100% my favourite skincare discovery of the year, so far, and it will take a lot to beat it!

Priced at £59 or €69.00.

Have you tried this mask or are you tempted to? I know that I will 100% be repurchasing!
