Omorovicza Midnight Renewal Review

Omorovicza Midnight Renewal Review
This product was kindly gifted to me, without obligation.

It will come as no surprise to my regular readers that I get very excited when Omorovicza release a new product, because the brand is basically made for my skin! I just adore everything they produce and everything suits my sensitive skin so well. Although the products all contain their patented Healing Concentrate™ and are suited to sensitive skin, they work for all skin types, because they are effective and really deliver results. Today I want to talk to you about their latest release - Midnight Renewal*, which was kindly gifted to me.

I love night-time products/treatments as they are always where I see results. Rejuvenation of the skin occurs between midnight and 4am, so it's important to use products that will work in conjunction with the circadian rhythm to regenerate the skin. I remember one of the first Consultants that I saw about my illness speaking to me about the importance of the circadian rhythm with regards healing and getting enough sleep at the right time. If the body heals and regenerates at this time, it makes sense to use products that will give results, and that are active.

Midnight Renewal doesn't contain any artificial ingredients, it contains 0.3% retinol and  has a patented delivery system, which means that the retinol isn't released until it penetrates the skin. It also contains micro-algae, which is a strong anti-oxidant, which reduces inflammation. The retinol reduces pore size, fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen production and boosts elasticity. It also contains their Healing Concentrate™, making it suitable for people who are new to retinol, as this is so soothing. Polyglutamic Acid holds 10 times more moisture than Hyaluronic Acid, so the aim of this product really is to renew, rejuvenate and plump the skin (hiding any signs of fatigue).

I apply it on to clean, dry skin and I find that 2 pumps max are all that I need, sometimes only one. It has a light blossom scent, but it really isn't at all overpowering. I pat it into my skin initially, and then press, to ensure that it is fully absorbed. Afterwards, I continue with my skincare routine. If you are new to retinol, I would recommend using once, possibly twice weekly to build up tolerance.

I have been using it for around 7 weeks now and I love the results. There is something about Omorovicza products that just works in synergy with my skin. I wake to even, calm and plump skin, but over the course of the 7 weeks, I've noticed that my pores are very refined and forehead lines are less visible. It's perfect to use all year round, but for this transitional period where we have both sunny and snowy days (what's going on, Spring?!), I have found it particularly effective.

As always, the packaging is very chic - glass with the Omorovicza logo and a silver lid. All of their packaging screams luxury!

Available from Omorovicza, Cult Beauty, Space NK, Look Fantastic (save 20% using the code LYMIN at checkout) and Feel Unique.

I'd love to hear your thoughts? Does this sound like a product you'd enjoy?
