My top picks from the Omorovicza Hydro Mineral Collection

My top picks from the Omorovicza Hydro Mineral Collection
Some products were gifted to me, without obligation and are marked with a * below but I buy from this brand all of the time!

We all know by now that Omorovicza is my favourite skincare brand and I recommend that everyone tries some of their products, if they are within their budget. (My LYMIN code works for 20% off on Look Fantastic). I previously reviewed the Gold Collection here and the Silver collection here, so today it's the turn of the Hydro Mineral Collection. Rather than share everything fro the collection, I'm sharing my top picks. This collection is powered by their patented Healing Concentrate™, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin, but it is also aimed at firming and increasing the suppleness of the skin. There's something here for everyone! Some of these products were kindly sent to me (marked with * but I have purchased all of them myself several times over the past five years, since I first discovered this brand).

Peachy Micellar Cleansers: As a rule, I don't use face wipes, but as I said in this post, these are the exception to the rule. I love that refill packs are available, so I've kept my original tub. The discs are soaked in a combination of micellar water, which combines olive oil ester, damask rose flower, the patented Healing Concentrate™, mentioned above, and there is a very subtle peach and patchouli fragrance, but be assured that it's subtle so unless you are extremely sensitive to fragrance, there should be no problem using these. What I really love about these, is that they don't sting my eyes or make them cloudy, as I have every sensitive eyes. I use one to remove my makeup and another to remove my eye makeup. On a very lazy day, I'll use this as my morning cleanser, or even just to remove my SPF in the evening.

Cleansing Foam: I generally am not a fan of cleansing foams, but this is a definite exception. It has a mousse texture, which foams when water is added and it's the perfect morning cleanse or second cleanse in the evening. It leaves the skin feeling really clean, yet not at all stripped. It's suitable for all skin types, but those with oily/combination/normal skin, in particular, will really love this and a little goes a long way.

Queen of Hungary Mist*: I honestly couldn't even guess how many bottles of this I have used! This bottle is from last year's limited edition range, which reminds me that I must buy this year's one before it sells out! It's the finest mist I have ever used and it really calms my skin. It has a light rose and neroli scent, which I personally love, but it is subtle so don't let that put you off if you don't like scents in your products. This can be used as part of your skincare routine (after acid toning), throughout the day to refresh the skin or even as a makeup setting spray and it gives the skin a slightly dewy finish. I just can't imagine ever not using this mist as my skin just adores it!

Omoressence: I honestly thought that essences were gimmicks before this came into my life 4 years ago - obviously it isn't, as I've repurchased several times since I was first sent it. This is used after I cleanse, tone and mist, by applying a few drops into my hands and patting into my skin. I then wait a few minutes before applying serum and the rest of my regime (I brush my teeth to pass the time!). This is honestly a game changer for dehydrated skin - it balances it, contains antioxidants, peptides and vitamins. It doesn't feel at all greasy or like you have an extra layer of product on your skin. It just rehydrates the skin so that it looks plump and feels comfortable.

Instant Perfection Serum:* This is described as being suited to oily/combination skin, but my dry skin loves it! It's hydrating, oil free, refines the appearance of pores, and always gives my skin a refreshed look. I find it particularly great when my skin is looking dull and just tired/grey as it revitalizes the skin. It also layers well with other products. If you have dry skin like I do, and worry that an oil free serum might not be nourishing enough for your skin, just add some oil at a later stage in your routine.

Reviving Eye Cream*: The perfect morning eye cream - light in texture, yet it delivers hydration, which leaves the area looking plump and feeling smooth. I also find that it helps to reduce puffiness, which is why I prefer it as my morning eye cream but it would also work perfectly at night too so there really is no need for a separate one for the evening routine.

Acid Fix*: A gentle, yet powerful exfoliator, which contains a blend of AHAs and BHAs, so it will exfoliate the surface of the skin as well as penetrating the pores more deeply to reduce sebum/prevent build up and therefore, prevent congestion. This is ideal if you feel that your skin is not ready for strong acids or retinol, but you prefer chemical to physical exfoliants. Used 2/3 times weekly, you will notice your skin become smoother, with refined pores and more radiance.

Midnight Radiance Mask: Another product that I really couldn't estimate how many jars of which I have used! My skin is guaranteed a great skin day the morning after I use this mask!  It contains Salicylic Acid, which deeply penetrates the pores to clear them but it also contains Red Algae and Sodium Hyaluronate, both of which inject some moisture into the skin. This is the mask to use if you feel a spot brewing, if you have annoying under the skin bumps, if your skin is dull and drab and also the night before a special occasion. You will wake to calm, radiant, smooth and refined skin and with consistent use, the results get better. It has a gel texture but. don't worry, your face won't stick to the pillow! I'd use this every night if I could afford to!

Complexion Perfector: Finally, I had to mention this because it's the perfect product to use if you don't want to be completely barefaced but still want to look polished without going for a full makeup look. It blurs the appearance of pores, adds some light coverage and gives the skin a healthy look.  It contains Hyaluronic Acid and vitamin C, which hydrate and brighten the skin. I really love it as a summer base but it can be worn all year round to improve the general appearance of the skin.
