OPI Muse of Milan Collection...... giving me Autumn vibes

OPI Milan Collection Review & Swatches
These nail polishes were kindly gifted to me without any obligation.

Have you entered my Pat McGrath giveaway here?

In my head, we're still in March but in reality, we're almost in Autumn and that's exactly what popped into my head when I saw the stunning new OPI Muse of Milan Collection. OPI are known for their destination collections, so to get inspiration for this range, they travelled to beautiful Milan and immersed themselves in the culture - food, architecture, style and more. This happened before the pandemic began, which claimed so many lives from the area so it is fitting that this launch is in honour of Milan and also, the spirit of the city - who remembers seeing videos of people meeting on their balconies in the evenings to sing and play music, in Milan and its surrounding areas? That spirit, during what was probably the worst time of their lives, inspired other countries around the world. The collection contains 12 shades, in a variety of finishes and I want to talk you through them today.

There is a real variety of shades; from burnt orange to dark teal, and lilac to grey. Something to suit all tastes and they are available in classic Nail Lacquer, Infinite Shine and Gel Colour. The shades are as follows:

OPI Milan Collection Review & Swatches
Swatches are completely unedited: Suzi Talks with Her Hands, OPI Nails The Runway, Galleria Vittorio Violet, Addio Bad Nails, Ciao Great Nails, Leonardo's Model Color, Complimentary Wine.

Duoma Days, Isola Nights
: A midnight blue.

Suzi Talks with Her Hands: A slate grey.

OPI Nails The Runway: A very shimmery grey.

Galleria Vittorio Violet: A deep lilac shade.

Addio Bad Nails, Ciao Great Nails: A deep lavender shade.

Leonardo's Model Color: A beautiful shimmering, pearlescent purple.

Complimentary Wine: A stunning deep wine shade.

I had to apply two thin layers of most of the polishes - three of the shimmery, chrome ones but that's what I generally do, no matter what the brand. OPI polishes* are excellent quality, I have used them for years and they generally stay chip-free for around a week (I tend to change my nail polishes on a weekly basis).

I was also blown away by the stunning Muse of Milan silk scarf that accompanied the PR package! I've never owned a silk scarf before, so this is a real treat. There was also a card inside the lid with some suggestions as to how to wear it, as you can see in the photo above - I think I'll wear it with my new handbag that I received for my birthday recently, as it looks so chique!

This collection is now available to buy from OPI*. Have any of these shades caught your eye? Do they make you think of Autumn? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
