Weekly DIY Facial #5

Anything that has been gifted to me is marked with a *

Have you entered my NAYA skincare bundle here?

You'll notice from the photo above that this week's facial is mainly Omorovicza products and that's purely because it's my favourite brand and it would be a dream to have an Omorovicza facial - until that's possible, I decided to try to do it myself! This week (as with most weeks), I focused on trying to achieve bright and hydrated skin.

This was a no makeup/no SPF day as it was spent mainly in bed (due to pain, not laziness!) so I just needed a single cleanse and for that, I used Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. I love the formula of this - it starts as a gel and then melts into an oil as it's massaged into the face. I then emulsify with water and rinse. It contains Vitamin E, Pumpkin Enzymes and Omega 6, which leave the skin feeling soft and smooth.

I then decided to use Omorovicza Copper Peel*, which is a two step facial peel. Although it might seem expensive at £95 for 16 tubes, each tube contains 2-3 applications and once weekly use is ample. The first tube contains copper peel paste, which you apply all over the face (but keep the seal that you've just broken to re-seal the tube) and then, you apply the Copper Peel Activator from tube two on top, mix and massage in circular motions for around two minutes, while it lathers and then rinse thoroughly. Although it contains lactic acid, which is a gentle AHA, this is a very effective peel, which leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, refined but without any sensitivity or redness, due to the trademarked Hungarian Thermal Water Concentrate. This is a brilliant product if you are short on time but need something to work quickly on textured skin.

I then followed with my beloved Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist* and then a few drops of Omoressence, which always hydrates my skin. Then to ensure that my skin would be balanced but also protected and nourished, I used a few drops of Zelens Power D Drops (use the code LYMIN for a 20% discount at checkout on Look Fantastic) and then Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream*.

After they settled in (with a good massage), I combined some Omorovicza Oxygen Booster with Gold Night Drops*, which I have mentioned frequently in recent times on the blog. This product really nourishes and replenishes the skin overnight.

I finished by using AHC Hydrating Essential Real Eye Cream for Face*, which is a very lightweight, yet nourishing moisturiser that I am currently LOVING! It doesn't pill, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin feeling plump and nourished. I will definitely be trying more from this K-Beauty brand!

I was then ready for bed with my skin feeling and looking so much better, which in turn helped me to feel a little better. I think that, if you have the time, it's always worth taking the time to pamper yourself as it's good for the soul!

Have you used any of these products? Do you make time to pamper yourself? I'd love to hear!
