Can you remember your first Benefit box of blush/bronzer/highlighter? Mine was Hoola and it's one that I still repurchase to this day. Since then, I've gone on to buy a number of blushes, with GALifornia being my favourite. The latest release from Benefit is Georgia Blush*, which is exclusive to Look Fantastic at the moment. What's even better, you can save 20% by using the code LYMIN at the checkout. I love that Benefit now also now sell minis of products (and the code works on those too!).
Georgia* was originally released in 2004 and was later discontinued but is, thankfully, back! It is basically my perfect blush shade and I knew that when I saw the peach on the box because peach/coral blushes suit my medium skin tone well and basically bring some life to my face! Housed in the traditional Benefit box with a mirror inside the lid and a natural bristle brush in the box. I'll be honest, I rarely use these brushes but they are handy to have for use on the go, if necessary. I love the light peachy scent although it doesn't really transfer to the cheeks for too long.
The formula is really smooth and finely milled, which is perfect for any cheek product as there's nothing worse than muddy or patchy products - they tend to make the skin look textured and dirty. This is described as a universally flattering shade, however given how sheer it is, I'm unsure if it will suit deeper skin tones.
On my medium skin, it gives a slight flush of colour to my cheeks - enough to lift my complexion. As you can see from the swatch above, there is a slight hint of gold shimmer running through it yet it doesn't translate as glittery or overly shimmery on the cheeks and I love that it doesn't highlight any textured or porous skin. It's the perfect Spring/Summer blush and I've worn it non-stop since kindly being sent it.
Are you a fan of Benefit blush/bronzer/highlighter boxes? I'd love to hear!
