Have you entered my Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona palettes giveaway here?
It's payday time again and maybe time for a little treat? I must admit that I've treated myself more in the past week or two than I have in a while because I've been quite ill and that means a lot of time in bed with the laptop, which inevitably leads to a few purchases! I don't have a set budget on what I spend on beauty each month - there are some that I don't buy anything and others that I have a little splurge, although it is far less frequent these days. These posts show that you don't need to spend a lot in order to treat yourself so let's get into it...
Under £20:
L'Oreal Professional Smartbond Step 3 Conditioner: If you have dry, damaged or coloured hair, you probably use hair masks regularly but sometimes, there just isn't enough time. That's where this intensive conditioner would work. It's designed to work in conjunction with steps 1 and 2, which are performed in salon when your colour or highlights are being done but even if you don't have those steps done, your hair will benefit from this conditioner. It strengthens and protects the fibres of the hair, whilst also leaving it soft and smooth. It also helps to protect against colour fade (there's not much point in paying to have your hair coloured only for it to fade quickly) and overall leaves the hair looking and feeling strong, shiny and healthy. Currently reduced to £13.05 for 250ml on Look Fantastic and a little goes a long way.
£20-50:
Alpha-H Limited Edition Balancing Cleanser Rose*: I have mentioned this cleanser in a previous post here and I just had to include it in this post as it's limited edition and I think that so many people would enjoy it. I use this as my morning cleanse and sometimes as my second cleanse and although cream cleansers wouldn't be my first choice, this one is special. It's hydrating, without being greasy and it feels gentle on the skin. It contains rose and aloe vera, which hydrate the skin, Vitamin E, which is anti-oxidative and the combination balances the skin so it's left clean, but not feeling at all stripped. £27 from Marks & Spencer*.
£50+:
Omorovicza Bagatelle De Gabrielle*: This is an exquisite fragrance and the only one available from Omorovicza. It contains top notes of bergamot, freesia and lavender, middle notes of tuberose, orange flower and muguet and base notes of tonka bean, sandalwood and creamy wood. The combination is a very sophisticated, feminine scent that isn't overpowering, if anything it's quite light but I find that t lasts a good 6/7 hours on my skin. It's a calming, yet uplifting (if anything can be both) scent that is suitable for year round wear.£120 from Omorovicza*.
Will you be treating yourself to anything this payday? Have any of these caught your eye? I'd love to hear!
Also, if you have your eye on anything from Look Fantastic, don't forget that my code LYMIN is valid until tomorrow at midnight! If you use it at the checkout, you can save 20% on most brands!
