My HG skincare products (and a 20% discount code on most!)

My HG skincare products (and a 20% discount code on most!), Discounts on luxury skincare

Have you entered my Rejuvenated bundle giveaway here?

While I was sorting through my skincare drawers last week, I started to think about which products I would replace if (God forbid), all of my products disappeared or were stolen. Or, more precisely, which ones would be my top priority to replace. I thought I'd share them with you today and I would really love to hear which products would be top of your repurchase list if you found yourself in a similar position. Oh and as a bonus, I have a discount code that will work on most of the products if you buy from Look Fantastic. This post is not sponsored but if anything was sent to me, it will be marked with a *. Most products were bought by me.

Cleanser:  This is a really tricky one because I generally use different cleansing products, depending on whether it's morning or night or if I am wearing a lot of makeup etc. If I could only buy one, it would have to be a cleansing balm as that could be used as a makeup remover but also to actually cleanse my skin. It would be a toss up between Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm or Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm (use the code LYMIN for 20% discount on Look Fantastic). I personally favour cleansing balms because they suit my dry skin, leaving it clean but not stripped and usually quite nourished. I feel like both of these are an experience rather than just a cleanser (hence I bought the extra large size recently) and I enjoy the entire cleansing method.

Exfoliator: On a daily basis, I use Pixi Glow Tonic* so this was a no-brainer for me. This gently exfoliates to reveal brighter skin with refined pores and it also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It has been a staple for years now. Again, the code LYMIN works for a 20% discount on this product on Look Fantastic.

Mist: I am a huge fan of face mists but the one that I have repurchased most often (and so many of you have told me that you have bought it on my recommendation) is Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist*. This mist gives my skin life - it hydrates, adds a tiny amount of dewiness, refreshes and smells amazing. It can be used as part of your skincare routine, over makeup that is a little too powdery, or to refresh the skin throughout the day.

Serum: My most repurchased skincare product ever is Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair so that would most definitely be my number one serum repurchase. Full review here and don't forget to use the code LYMIN if you wish to buy it and save 20%. The other two, which I actually don't have at the moment but need to repurchase asap are Image AGELESS Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler, which is basically like botox in a bottle and Sunday Riley Good Genes, which is a glycolic acid treatment that helps to battle pigmentation, uneven skin texture and leaves skin soft, smooth and radiant.

Eye product: This is quite tricky as I love quite a few eye products. I know that some people think they are gimmicks but I wholeheartedly disagree as the right eye product makes a huge difference in terms of how plump the skin is, it will diminish the appearance of fine lines and make the area look fresh, reducing the need for a lot of concealer. I'm cheating slightly with two products here, the first being PRAI AGELESS Eye Tight Uplift Serum (use LYMIN for 20% discount), which really does as the name suggests - it firms the under eye area. The second is Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex (Use LYMIN for 20% discount at checkout), which brightens, depuffs, hydrates and plumps the under eye area to leave it looking fresh the morning after use. The formula is also soothing and cooling.

Moisturiser: This is another very tricky category for me as I have three main go-to moisturisers that I know will work for my awkward skin, which is dry, reactive and dull but if I had to choose just one, it would be Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance 2.0, which I reviewed here. It is intensely nourishing, as the name suggests, yet it doesn't leave the skin feeling at all greasy. It is clinically proven to deliver moisture 10 layers deep but it also brightens the skin and supports collagen production to increase elasticity.

Oil: Again, a bit of a cheat because this is an oil/serum hybrid but it would have to be Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial (Use LYMIN to receive 20% discount at checkout). I love products that make a difference to my skin overnight and this is one of the best in that regard. Full review here.

Mask(s): Masks are a real weakness for me and, of course, I wouldn't replace all three at once but if any of these weren't in my collection, I would see a difference in my skin. Two are from Omorovicza: Midnight Radiance Mask, (review here) and Ultramoor Mud Mask (a.k.a. Spanx for your face) and the third is Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask (review here). They all work in different ways, hence wanting all three! Ultramoor Mud Mask is deeply cleansing and firming, Midnight Radiance refines pores, contains BHAs, which means it can penetrate pores more deeply and it leaves skin looking radiant and almost translucent overnight. The Dermalogica mask is plumping, firming and brightening and instantly takes around 5 years off my face!

Extras/Treatments: These are extras, but not really as they are regular features in my routine that I cannot imagine being without. The first is Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads (Use LYMIN for 20% discount at checkout), which I call texture and blackhead erasers. Full review here. The next step up from these is Dr Dennis Gross Professional Grade Liquid Peel (Use LYMIN for a 20% discount code at the checkout), which contains a blend of acids, which refine, retexturise and brighten the skin so much so that I would say the result is like a filter for the skin. Finally, I have to mention Omoressence, which is a product that I was initially sent in 2016 and have gone on to consistently repurchase since then. It instantly soothes my skin but also banishes signs of dehydration, especially in my forehead and cheek area. It's a step that I simply cannot skip or it shows in my skin.

Okay, I agree, this list is pretty extra and that's not even mentioning other products that I love but these are all HG items for me. I would love to hear yours?

The code LYMIN is valid until the end of February, not just on the products mentioned above but on a wide variety of products and brands.
