Clarins Lip Milky Mousse - nourished lips with a hint of colour

I've mentioned before that I am a huge fan of Clarins Natural Lip Perfectors - they are my go-to lip products when I'm unsure what to wear as they suit all looks and I have one in every handbag so I was intrigued when I heard about their latest release - Lip Milky Mousse as part of their Spring Makeup Collection.

There are six shades of Milky Mousse available and I was kindly sent four to test. The mousse formula is very comfortable on the lips and feels nourishing as they are infused with peach milk (hence the name!). The applicator is a soft, velour, which hugs the lips and the light mousse texture glides on, giving a smooth and even finish.

Whereas the Lip Perfectors have a glossy finish, which might not be to everyone's taste, these have a satin finish, which makes them suitable for both day and evening wear. 

In terms of coverage, they add just a hint of colour, which does build with layers but if you like an intense lip, these won't be for you. I like that they can be easily topped up on the go, even without a mirror, as the applicator hugs the lips.  One of these will be a staple in my handbag now at all times as an alternative to the perfectors if I want a different finish but still something nourishing.

Also in the Spring collection is Milky Boost, which is a tinted moisturiser and two limited edition Joli Blushes.
