Naya - the brand that brings the glow!

Naya Everyday Glow Serum, Naya, Naya Everyday Face Oil, Naya Everyday Day Cream, Naya Everyday Cleansing Oil,

If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you will know that I absolutely love products that help my skin to glow. I have dry skin, which is naturally very dull so it is a constant battle to achieve bright and glowing skin, especially when the seasons change. I was kindly sent some products from Naya at the end of summer and it was perfect timing as the temperatures were starting to drop and I could see the effect in my skin.

Before I get into the products themselves, I just want to tell you a little bit about the brand and what attracted me to it (as I have said before, I don't accept all products that are offered to me unless I feel that I would be willing to spend my own money on them).  The brand is German and behind it is a team of Green scientists. They take a 'less is more' approach to their products, meaning that they use fewer ingredients in their products but at a higher concentration. Their ingredients are sustainably sourced, with Cacay (their star ingredient) being sourced from Colombia, where they work with farmers to protect and harvest 30-50 hectares within the rainforest to grow indigenous plants. Their aim is to produce high quality, effective products (without any filler ingredients) that actually work to boost the skin's ability to repair and protect itself. It is 100% vegan and they avoid certain ingredients, which some people find problematic in skincare, such as alcohol, high levels of essential oils, SLS, palm oil and more (full list here).  As I mentioned, Cacay Oil is their star ingredient and is said to be a natural alternative to retinol. It contains 50% more vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than Argain Oil and three times more retinol than Rosehip Oil. It's an unsung hero ingredient.

Now to on the products that I have been using (and loving!). I was kindly sent four products from the range. The brand is relatively new so they don't have a huge line up yet they have everything needed for an everyday routine.

Everyday Cleansing Oil: My favourite way to remove my makeup is with a cleansing oil, followed by a balm. That said, I'm quite fussy about the cleansing oils that I use because I don't like anything that will sting my eyes or leave them cloudy plus I don't want to have to tug on my eye area. Fortunately, this cleansing oil breaks down every scrap of mascara and liquid liner with a gentle massage and melts away foundation, spf etc.  A little goes a long way with this oil and I like to take my time to massage it in before adding water to emulsify and then rinsing. It combines Cacay, Rapeseed and Hemp Oils with Bisabolol and Pomegranate to intensely nourish and protect the skin, leaving it clean, clear and calm.

Everyday Glow Serum: I mentioned this serum in my Autumn skincare glow products post (here). I absolutely love this serum because it gives my skin an instant healthy glow - a very lit from within look. As with the other products, it contains cacay oil but it also contains vitamin C, mango and chlorophyll. This combination of ingredients serves to protect the skin from free radical damage, nourish, firm and brighten the skin as well as encourage the production of collagen, which in turn firms the skin. I have been reaching for this every morning and love how it instantly transforms my dull skin and over time, I have seen an improvement in the elasticity of my skin. It also layers well with other products without any pilling.

Everyday Protective Day Cream: Again, this product contains Cacay Oil and it also contains Hyaluronic Acid, Centella Asiatica, Passion Fruit and Vitamin C. Combined, they deliver a powerful dose of hydration and help to strengthen the skin, in turn diminishing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and scars. The texture is lightweight - slightly richer than a lotion but not quite as heavy as some creams, making it a perfect day time product. It makes skin feel instantly comfortable and thirst is quenched yet it doesn't feel at all greasy on the skin. Also, the nourished feeling doesn't disappear after a few hours, which can sometimes happen with other moisturisers.

Everyday Face Oil: This oil is comprised of Cacay Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Tocopherol and Bisabolol. It feels intensely nourishing on the skin, yet not greasy as it absorbs really well.  It's a hard-working product as it protects the skin as well as nourishing and encouraging cellular renewal. It also helps to protect the skin's barrier function as well as brightening the skin. I love to use this at night, either alone or combined with a moisturiser and the result is supple skin that looks plump and feels bouncy.

Overall, I am really impressed with this range of products. My skin is sensitive but I have not suffered any adverse reactions to any of the products. My favourite product of all is the serum because it instantly transforms my skin but I genuinely love them all and will finish every drop.
