Before getting into the post, I want to remind you that today is the last day to enter my Bee YĆ¼ skincare giveaway here.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an international campaign that promotes awareness of breast cancer (what signs to watch out for and also help for those affected by it) and it also sees a lot of fundraising, which goes towards research into how to prevent the disease, the best treatment and more. Lots of beauty brands get involved in this campaign and I want to share one with you today. Rejuvenated have launched their Pink Drink Set and will be donating 10% of sales to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
The Pink Drink Set contains two full size pouches of their award winning products: Collagen Shots and H3O Hydration, which I previously reviewed here. It also contains a Rejuvenated cocktail shaker, a booklet, which has some recipe ideas and an information card, which shows how to correctly perform a breast check and some breast cancer facts. All housed in a pink cloth bag. The RRP is £76.40 and it's on sale for £68.75 with 10% of this going to the charity. In addition, 50% of sales of The Youth Plan book sold in October, written by Kathryn who is the founder of Rejuvenated, will also go to the charity.
I love the Rejuvenated premise of 'beauty from within' as it can be difficult to get all of the nutrients required through our diet and supplements can really help to bridge the gap, especially in times of illness, stress etc. I have been using Collagen Shots pretty much consistently for over a year now and I have used H3O intermittently in that time. I have noticed improvements in not just my skin but also my hair and nails. Both contain Hyaluronic Acid, which attracts moisture to the skin but Hydration H3O also contains Vitamin C, Trans-Resveratrol and other hydrating ingredients. This will be the perfect supplement for the colder months when the central heating dries my, already Sahara-like, skin even further. Collagen Shots also contains vitamins and anti-oxidants but the key ingredient is 10,000 mgs of hydrolysed marine collagen, which helps firm and plump the skin, in turn making it look more youthful.
Both of these products can be taken daily or you might like to use just one at a time to see the effects. The set is a great way to try both and support a foundation, which supports other charities and that will help so many people affected by breast cancer. You can find a full list of those who have already been supported here.
