I honestly cannot believe that we are almost at the end of August! If you are paid monthly, there are only four more pay days after this until Christmas - now that's a scary thought! As I always say, you don't need to spend a fortune if you feel like treating yourself and I have three brilliant products to share with you today that start at only £3!
Under £10:
Patchology FlashPatch Hydrating Lip Gels: Ok, possibly a bit of a gimmicky product to start with, or so you'd think but these lip masks are actually brilliant if you have dry and flaky lips. I bought them after I had pneumonia because my lips were sore from both the meds and illness itself. They are really hydrating and contain niacinamide, which soothes the lips (particularly good if your lips are cracked). They are also said to add volume but I personally haven't noticed that. To use, just placed the lips shaped mask on your lips (and the skin around them as they are actually quite big), leave for five minutes and then remove and pat any excess serum into the lips and skin. Not something I'd use every day but great for when lips are especially dry and sore. £3.
£10-50:
Ameliorate Transforming Bosy Lotion - Rose Limited Edition: You might already know how much I love the original transforming body lotion (review here) but it is now available in a rose scent for a limited time. This body lotion contains lactic acid and is brilliant for any dry skin but particularly bumpy skin on the backs of arms, legs etc and for ingrown hairs. What I also love about it is that it doesn't strip the skin as it also contains Sweet Almond Oil. After a few weeks of consistent use, skin is smooth and bump-free! This rose scented version is beautiful - the scent isn't overpowering, actually it's quite subtle but if the original scent was off-putting for you, you will love this! But if you want it, act fast as it's limited edition. Chicken skin, be gone! £24.
£50+:
L'Occitane & Pierre Hermé 86 Champs Mandarin & Immortelle: Now this really is a treat! Pierre Hermé is a renowned French pastry chef and chocolatier. He and L'Occitane came together to create a range of eight eau de parfums in the 86 Champs line. They have created unique scents inspired by nature with a culinary twist! Mandarin & Immortelle is a spicy, musky, yet fresh scent. It combines notes of mandarin, bitter orange and ginger with rich Immortelle, honey and lavender and base notes of vanilla, cedar and Ambrox. It starts off quite citrusy and dries down to a spicy but sweet, musky scent with a fresh twist. Housed in a clear glass bottle with a marble lid and monochrome labelling, it pleases not just the eyes but the senses too. I find it lasts a good 7 hours on me before I need to refresh. Stunning! Also, L'Occitane are on a mission to reduce plastic consumption and use plastic free and 100% recyclable packaging. This line of fragrances is only available online or at their Regent's Street store. £85.
Will you be treating yourself this month? Have any of these caught your eye?
