A really nourishing, post-sunny days treat: Antipodes Hand & Body Creams: Joyful, Jubilation and Delight

Earlier this year, I wrote a Brand Focus post on Antipodes and I mentioned how much I loved Joyful Hand & Body Cream.  Because it is so nourishing, it's the perfect product to use in winter when skin is extra dry from the effects of central heating, cold weather etc but it is also perfect to use after a long, hot sunny day (which we're thankfully having quite a few of at the moment!).  There are also two other hand and body creams in the range and I want to tell you about them today as they really do feel like a treat and would make a lovely gift (maybe even to yourself!).

All of the hand creams are housed in a tube, which I really like because I can squeeze every last drop out and there is 120ml in each. This is a decent amount, given that it can be used on both hand and body - standard hand creams tend to have 30 or maybe 50ml so this will last a long time if you choose to use it for hands only.

Delight Hand & Body Cream: Housed in a mid-blue tube, this cream contains macadamia nut oil combined with marigold flower oil, which is really nourishing without being greasy.  It is scented with vintage gardenia, which is a lightly sweet, floral fragrance.  This is a gorgeous summer scent but it isn't too overpowering. Because it isn't greasy, you can dress pretty much immediately after applying but the hydrating effects can be felt for hours afterwards.

Jubilation Ultra-Nourishing Hand & Body Cream: Although this is ultra-nourishing, the texture is actually quite light, which surprised me. It contains really moisturising ingredients, such as Omegas 3, 6 and 9 as well as Vitamins A, C and E with some pure plant oils. It also contains oils of some tropical fruits, which give it a fresh 'green' scent but it isn't very overpowering. I love to use this on my hands, knees, ankles and elbows - all of the driest areas and it really nourishes the skin to leave it smooth and soft. 

Joyful Hand & Body Cream: This is my personal favourite of the three, due to the beautiful scent! It contains berries and sweet hibiscus flower, which combine to create a very fresh, lightly sweet fragrance. The myriad of nourishing ingredients include oil obtained from the kernels of organic avocado, which contains Omegas 3 and 9, as well as Vitamins A, B and D. It also contains  blackcurrant oil, which is a rich source of Vitamins C and E. Not only does this product nourish the skin, but it also protects against free radicals and helps to diminish age spots, which can easily occur if SPF is not re-applied to hands regularly.  I love to smother myself in this because the scent is so beautiful and the texture is easily absorbed to leave my skin feeling silky smooth.
