001 London Alpha-Paradise Cleansing Dew - as beautiful as the name suggests!

001 London Alpha-Paradise Cleansing Dew Review

I was first introduced to the brand 001 London last Autumn when I was kindly sent their CRYOpress and Alpha-Glow Flash Facial, which I reviewed here.  The founder of the brand combines both Asian and Western skincare principles and her products aim to restore balance to the skin. The products don't contain any silicones, mineral oil, parabens or animal testing. I really loved the serum so when I was offered the chance to try their new Alpha-Paradise Cleansing Dew,  I was instantly intrigued. The name really grabbed my attention - paradise and dew - yep, I had to try it!

What is it?
It is a cleansing oil, which can be used as a first cleanse to dissolve all makeup/spf/dirt or as a morning cleanse. It has a pipette dispenser, which I like because I can control how much product I use and prevent waste.

The first thing that I noticed about this product is the beautiful scent as it contains a blend of Jasmine, Neroli and Ylang Ylang - it's invigorating and I like to breathe it in before applying to my face. For this reason, I often use it as my morning cleanse because the uplifting scent gets my day off to a good start!

It combines Jojoba, Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond Oil with antioxidants and the afore-mentioned oils to create an indulgent but non-comedogenic cleanser. I tend to use around 4 drops of the oil and massage it into my eye area, face and neck to completely dissolve any product or dirt build up. I like to take my time massaging it in to ensure that every last bit of makeup is broken down. I then emulsify by adding water and then remove with a muslin cloth. The directions don't say to emulsify it but I personally like doing that because I feel that it helps to eliminate all product that has been on my face.

The result is deeply cleansed skin that doesn't feel at all stripped, in fact, I have noticed that my skin is glowing, looks plump and feels comfortable. I love that it doesn't sting my eyes nor does it leave a film over them. It dissolves waterproof liquid liner so I'm assuming it would do the same for waterproof mascara, although I don't wear it so can't say for sure. Although it is an oil cleanser, it doesn't feel too heavy on the skin and even those with oily skin will enjoy using this product as it doesn't leave a residue on the skin.

Because of the gorgeous scent, I look forward to using this cleansing oil and missed it when I was on holiday - it's housed in a glass bottle so it's a bit too heavy to take away. It was one of the things I was most looking forward to when I got home

At £40 for 100ml, this is not the cheapest cleansing oil out there but with only 4 drops per use, I expect this to last quite a while. I always show my empties on my Instastories so I will let you know there when I've finished it.

Does this sound like a product you would enjoy? Does scent influence whether you love a product or not?
