My holiday makeup picks

Erborian Pink Perfect Crème Review, Holiday Makeup,

I'm off to Majorca tomorrow for a week! This is our fifth time going to Majorca although we don't always stay in the same resort but we both just love the island and the fact that it's a short flight. I packed my clothes quite quickly but I always find packing skincare and makeup much trickier than choosing which clothes to bring. I used to be utterly ridiculous with the amount of products that I brought but like to think that I've improved. I save mini products and samples throughout the year to take away on weekends/holidays  - advent calendars, beauty boxes and gift with purchases are really good in that regard. So, what have I packed this time? Let's get into it!

Primer: I have a lot of primers but I decided to pack Clarins SOS Bronze Primer* because it's lightweight, adds some hydration but also adds a hint of colour., which I need because my face is always lighter than my body. If I feel like skipping foundation, I know that this will work on its own. If I think that my skin is looking dull, Erborian Pink Perfect Crème* will add some life as well as blurring my pores. I love how soft and comfortable my skin feels when I use this and it adds some dewiness without looking fake.

Foundation: This is the product that took longest to choose! I eventually settled on Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation. I decided on this one because I love the finish, which is demi -matte and the shade I have matches me perfectly when I'm tanned. It's also long-lasting so should hopefully last on my face in the humid evenings.

Concealer: Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer is my product of choice because it gives some coverage without looking or feeling heavy. It doesn't settle into fine lines,  I find that it doesn't crease plus it adds some radiance without looking too highlighted.

Blush/Powder/Bronzer:  It's a no brainer for me to bring my Clarins Bronzing Compact* in the shade Sunrise Glow because I love the formula and it adds warmth without looking muddy. My blush of choice is Stila Convertible Colour in the shade Gerbera as I like a cream blush to add a flush of colour to the cheeks and this shade is beautiful. For powder, I'm taking Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish as it will ensure my base doesn't budge but it also doesn't look cakey.

Highlighter: I have two mini products - a mini Becca Champagne Pop* and a mini Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops so I can decide whether I want to use liquid or powder highlighter when I am there.

Brows: I had my brows waxed and tinted so I shouldn't have to do very much to them but I'm taking Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Dipbrow Gel in case they need perfecting. I find this duo so easy to use and Medium Brown matches my brows perfectly.

Eyes: I have lash extensions, which eliminates the need for mascara and I generally don't wear any liner with them either. Because I'm obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise in the shade Rose Gold, I have to bring that and because I'm all about the quick eye look at the moment, I'm also taking Marc Jacobs O!Mega Gel Powder Shadow in the shade Bravo O! and the only other product that I'll use on my eyes is my bronzer. This is the first time I haven't packed an eyeshadow palette! Shocking!

Lips: I like to have a few lip options so I'm taking a Clarins Water Lip Stain*, Charlotte Tilbury Kim K-W Lipstick, By Terry Lip-Expert Shine Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bare Flirt and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat because that will match all lip products as it's the same colour as my lips.

Compared to how many products I used to pack, I think I've done pretty well. Are you an over-packer? I'd love to hear!
