The nude lip edit

I have always preferred a nude lip to any other option. I do sometimes dabble with colours but my lip collection consists mainly of nudes and pinks. I just love how a nude will go with any eye look and can be worn day or night and easily topped up. Today I want to share 10 beautiful nude lip options in a variety of finishes.

Lipstick:

Clinique Beige Pop: I love the formula of Clinique Lip Pops and this is definitely my favourite shade, although it's a bit battered at this stage from being worn so frequently and also, the bullet broke! The formula is really creamy and comfortable to wear. I find that I get around 3-4 hours before it needs topping up. Although beige is in the name, it's actually more of a pinky nude, which I am a huge fan of.

Charlotte Tilbury Kim K-W: This option is a peachy nude with a creamy formula. I find that it lasts around 4/5 hours before it needs re-applying, depending on what I eat or drink. It's pretty pigmented so one swipe is enough per application. Like all of the options in this post, it's comfortable to wear.

Charlotte Tilbury Confession: This lipstick is a '90s browny nude and I like to either wear it alone or to mix it with Kim K-W if I want a slightly lighter nude. Again, it has a creamy formula and the wear time is around 4/5 hours.

MAC x Jamie Genevieve: This is a true nude lipstick that runs the risk of looking like concealer lips, depending on your skin tone so I personally like to layer it over a deeper lip liner, like MAC Spice. It has a satin finish and lasts around 3/4 hours on the lips.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Beige Tribute: A stunning beige-nude with a creamy formula that isn't too slippy - it won't apply to your teeth! It's very comfortable to wear but the wear time is only around 3 hours, which I don't particularly mind because nude lips are so easy to top up.

Pat McGrath LuxeTrance Lipstick Donnatella: This is a gorgeous beige lipstick with a hint of mauve and a creamy, hydrating formula. It's really pigmented  - one swipe and I'm good to go! It has a satin finish, which doesn't cling to any dry patches and lasts around 4/5 hours on the lips.

Liquid Lipsticks:

Huda Liquid Matte Crush: The formula of these lipsticks is very watery but because the applicator is quite small, application is precise rather than messy as you'd expect. Once dry, they are budgeproof for hours and they aren't at all drying on the lips. The shade is a beautiful warm nude with a hint of pink.

Pixi Matte Last Liquid Lip Bare Beauty: Formulated with rose hip oil, this liquid lipstick is hydrating and comfortable. I love that it doesn't highlight any lines on the lips and is seriously pigmented. I also find that it fades evenly, rather than flaking off and I love the warm nude shade.

Lip Gloss:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Undressed: This is a beautiful peachy nude shade and I love that, unlike most glosses, it's pigmented. I also love that it applies evenly and is non-sticky.

Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Sugar Sugar: This really does live up to its name with its high shine finish and I love that it's non-sticky. It's a light peach shade that lasts around 4 hours on the lips.
