Today's favourites post is all about makeup and I don't have a huge number of products but they are all ones that I have used regularly throughout the year - my fail-safe, go-to products or ones that have really stood out to me throughout the year.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: I have grown to love this product more and more since I first bought it! It can be used either under or over makeup (I know some people say that it can be worn on it's own but I think it would just look too shiny!) - I like to use it both ways to ensure that my skin is glowing but it doesn't give a sweaty or discoball effect. What I also like about it is that it seems to blur my pores rather than enhance them in the way that some glow enhancing products do. £30.
Huda Beauty Over Achiever Concealer: Although this was only released in the last few months, I had to include this concealer because I love the flawless look that it gives to the skin. I can use it on my under eye area and on blemishes and it doesn't cake or dry out my skin. I love how fresh and awake my under eye area looks when I use this concealer and it is also really long-lasting. I also have to mention the metal applicator, which feels so cooling on the under eye area. £23.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand: As I have mentioned before, I find that liquid highlighters work so well on my dry skin and this Charlotte Tilbury product is one of the best I have used. It is a beautiful champagne shade that doesn't look holographic on the skin - I would describe it as a sophisticated highlighter that gives the skin a radiant glow. £29.
theBalm Schwing Liquid Liner: I initially received this as a PR sample and have since repurchased myself. I have the delightful combination on watery eyes and oily lids so it can be tricky to find an eyeliner that won't smudge, crease or transfer. This liquid liner is so easy to use, it really black and doesn't budge until I remove it! It ticks every box for me. £15.
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara: I've repurchased this mascara a number of times because it gives me the volume and dramatic look that I love and it doesn't flake or smudge. It doesn't feel heavy on the lashes and doesn't make my lashes crispy. If you like the false lash look, you need to try this mascara. £22.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow: You can tell how much I love this duo from the photo - I eventually hit pan on the bronzer! I can add some gentle definition to my face, rather than a blunt contour, and I also like to use the bronzer on my eyes if I am in a rush. The formula of both powders is so easy to work with and neither apply patchily or settle into any dry areas. An all round winner! £49.
Too Faced Chocolate Matte Bronzer: I adore this bronzer! It is so finely milled that it would be impossible to get streaks or patches and it is perfect for giving an all over bronze look to the skin without looking unnatural. Again, I like to use it on my eyes too. Oh and it smells like chocolate - need I say more?! £25.
MAC Oh Honey! Pro Longwear Lip Pencil: I love the formula of MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencils because they don't drag on the lips and they are soft without being smudgy. This particular shade is the perfect nude and pairs beautifully with the next product. £15.50.
Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Kim K-W Lipstick: My go-to nude lipstick! I just love how flattering this is on my skin tone - it is neither too brown, pink or peachy - just the perfect balance of all three shades. The formula is creamy but not too slippy and is really comfortable on the lips. £24.
