Despite having a ridiculously large makeup collection, I have been sticking to the same products repeatedly recently. I've had a real dip in my health in the last while so I haven't really had the energy or enthusiasm to play with makeup and I'm just sticking to the products that I know I love and I can create a quick and easy glowing look that hides how crap I'm really feeling! It might seem like a lot of products but it honestly takes me under 10 minutes to apply everything.
Glowing base: I'm mainly using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter mixed with either Light Wonder Foundation, Hourglass Illusion or By Terry Terrybly Densiliss. You know I'm all about the glow and these foundations will give me that luminosity I like to make me look a bit healthier. The By Terry offers the most coverage but I tend to only apply a small amount as my skin is actually quite good at the moment so I don't want to hide it.
Conceal: I use either Charlotte Tilbury Magic Concealer or Huda Overachiever - both work beautifully on the under eye area without accentuating fine lines or looking cakey, but they also work well at concealing pigmentation or redness. I've raved about Magic Concealer here previously and I will have a review of the Huda concealer coming later this week so I won't say too much now.
Powder/Contour/Highlight/BlushSetting Spray: I don't contour but I do like to add some gentle definition and my go to for that is the cream contour in the Natasha Denona Sculpt & Glow Palette. I don't rate the powder contour from this palette at all (review here) but the cream product is the perfect shade to add definition without looking too muddy or ashy. To highlight, I am using the same palette and go between the cream and powder highlighters - both blend beautifully into the skin and neither give the discoball effect. Despite not liking the smell of Charlotte Tilbury Genius Magic Powder, I love the finish that it gives - you can't see it on the skin and it doesn't highlight the dryness of my skin, it just gives me a polished look and doesn't feel like I have an extra layer of product. I've recently rediscovered Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush in Brilliant Nude - it just adds a hint of colour to my cheeks to brighten my complexion without looking too obvious. To set everything in place, my go to is Morphe Continuous Setting Mist - the more I use this, the more I love it and I know it will be a definite repurchase. It has a very fine spray, which doesn't disturb my base and it feels refreshing on the face but it also looks everything into place. Everyone should try this setting spray!
Eyes: I'm still obsessed with theBalm Furrowcious brow pencil - I love the fine nib and I can do my brows really quickly with it. Also the formula is perfect as it doesn't smudge and is long-lasting. Despite having A LOT of eyeshadow palettes, I've mainly been doing a very simple eye with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer and if I feel like making more effort, I'll go for Too Faced Gingerbread Spice eyeshadow palette, which I know I will use a lot over the festive season. The very best blending brush that I have ever used is Callanberry Large Blender Brush - it just does the job for me with minimal effort and is still like new despite being almost 2 years old.
Lips: Some days, I just wear lip balm and my go to is Dior Lip Glow but if I do wear lipstick, it tends to be Huda Liquid Matte Nude in Crush because it's comfortable and long-lasting or Charlotte Tilbury Confession lipstick. Nude lips will always be my favourite.
