Welcome to the second of my Christmas Gift Guides. As I mentioned yesterday, I know that some people are quite cynical about gift guides as they think they consist of only PR products but all of my posts have a mixture of products that were kindly sent to me and products that I have bought myself (as gifts or for myself!). I usually mention at the bottom of each post if a product was gifted to me but for my gift guide posts, any product that was sent to me will be marked with a * As always, I only feature products that I would be happy to spend my own money on. Today we're looking at gifts priced between £25-50 and I have some really great products to share with you!
YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Makeup Gift Set: When it comes to luxury beauty, it's hard to beat YSL, especially when it comes to mascara. This set contains a full size mascara, a mini makeup remover and mini eye liner. £26. Currently reduced to £20.80 - bargain!
Molton Brown Body Lotion: Like most people, I tend to use mainly budget body lotions so I think that it's a real treat to have a 'fancy' body lotion. Molton Brown products are beautifully fragranced - they aren't overpowering but the scent really does linger on the skin and they also nourish the skin. There are a huge selection of fragrances to choose from. £27.
Caudalie Natural Hydration Heroes*: This set contains three products that target dehydrated skin - something that is an issue for most people at this time of year! There is a full size SOS Thirst Quenching Serum and two deluxe sample sized products: Grape Water and Moisturising Sorbet. The perfect trio of products to save skin from looking like a prune in the winter months! The packaging is also very pretty. £29.
Diptyque Surprise Pocket Do Son & Tuberose*: I love the classic black and gold packaging of this gift set. Inside are three Diptyque products - a mini Do Son Eau De Toilette, a matching mini shower oil and a mini Tuberose candle. This is an ideal gift for someone who travels as the sizes are perfect for hand luggage. It would also be perfect for anyone who would like to dip their toe into the world of Diptyque. If you are flying before Christmas, you can pick this up in World Duty Free, even if Diptyque isn't normally sold in your terminal, by using the Reserve & Collect Option - this allows you to reserve your shopping in advance and then collect and pay in the airport before you fly. £30.40 in World Duty Free/£38 in Space NK.
Clarins Skin Solutions Skincare Gift Set: This set contains a full size tube of Beauty Flash Balm, which is my all time favourite primer - it brightens, tightens and plumps the skin. It also contains a deluxe sample size of Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream and a mini Natural Lip Perfector. All of these products are housed in a mini wash bag. If anybody has never tried Beauty Flash Balm before, they will love you for life for introducing them to it! £32. Currently reduced to £27.20.
Ecooking Discovery Set*: This set is from a brand that I had the pleasure of discovering this year. (post here) This is the ideal set for anybody who travels regularly as the bag size fits airport regulations but the sizes are all less than 100ml. It would also be the perfect gift for anyone who wants to discover a new natural beauty brand. It contains eight of their products, which makeup up a complete routine - cleanser, toner, day and night creams and more! £40.
Charlotte Tilbury Magical Mini Brush Set*: This stunning rose gold glittery clutch contains four of Charlotte's best-selling brushes - Blusher Brush, Eye Blender Brush, Eye Smudger Brush and a Lip Brush. They are all beautifully soft brushes that are a pleasure to use - nothing worse than scratchy brushes! Any makeup fan would love to receive this set! £45.
Too Faced Under The Christmas Tree: Too Faced do Christmas gifts so well and I am always curious about their holiday releases. I own quite a few Too Faced eyeshadow palettes because the formula and texture is beautiful. This set contains two eyeshadow palettes (combining 18 shadows), one face palette (blush, bronzer and highlighter) and a mini Better Than Sex Mascara. There are both warm and cool tones shadows and I love that they are in individual palettes rather than one large one. £46.
By Terry Trio Compact Gem Glow: Housed in a stunning festive compact (that won't look out of place throughout the rest of the year), are three powders that combine to add radiance to the skin. It can be used all over the face as it isn't actually a highlighter and it melts into the skin for a seamless, healthy look. Who wouldn't love to find this under the tree? £48.
L'Occitane Delicious Almond Collection*: Worth £57.50, this set contains four almond scented products in a stunning gift box that would be a shame to wrap! The almond shower oil is nourishing, which makes it perfect for this time of year and it doesn't leave a residue on the skin. The Milk Concentrate really locks in moisture and also extends the wear time of the fragrance. There is also a mini had cream in the same scent (nourishing but not greasy) and a bar of soap. All of the products are in limited edition, festive packaging! £49.
I hope this post has served as some inspiration to those of you who still have some gifts to buy! Come back tomorrow for gifts that are priced £50+
