One of the perks of writing a beauty blog, is that you are sometimes sent P.R. samples - this is definitely not a reason to start blogging and it takes time for a brand to notice you so if anybody thinks that you start a blog and receive products within weeks (or even months), they are very mistaken. Also, they aren't 'freebies' because if you consider the amount of time that you put into trialling a product, then taking photographs, writing posts and promoting the posts, if you were being paid by the hour, the total would definitely be more than the price of most products. That being said, I definitely consider the samples to be a definite perk as I discover brands and products that I may not have otherwise and also I get to try products from brands that I already love. I turn down more PR than I accept because I don't want my blog to just become an ad. and because I'm a beauty lover so I still like to shop for products myself! Today I want to share with you seven products that I repurchased after initially receiving as a P.R. sample - for a beauty addict to repurchase a product, it must be good!
Omorovicza Omoressence: Omorovicza is my favourite skincare brand because I find all of the products to be effective yet gentle, which really suits my dry and sensitive skin. They all contain their patented thermal healing waters, which is soothing and tones down redness. I had purchased and blogged about several products from the brand before they contacted me offering a sample of some of their latest products and this was one of them. Before trying Omoressence, I wondered in essences were gimmicks but the answer is no! I use this after misting my face and before serum (although I give it a few minutes to sink in before proceeding to the next step). This soothes and hydrates my parched skin and within two weeks of use, all signs of dehydration were banished from my skin. I honestly can't be without this so this is actually my third bottle. A bottle lasts forever because only a few drops are needed daily.
Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask: I've repurchased this mask repeatedly since I first received it because my skin just loves it. It gives the skin a very deep cleanse while also firming the skin. I described it as Spanx for your face in this post. Skin instantly looks brighter and feels plump and soft to touch with refined pores. It's a mask that I will repurchase forever!
Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask: This mask blew me away from first use! It combines Salycylic Acid, which can penetrate the pores more deeply than any AHA, with Red Alga, Sodium Hyaluronate and Sand Lily. When I apply this gel textured mask at night, I know that I will wake with better skin. Pores are always refined, skin texture is improved and skin looks clear. It is particularly good if you have a spot brewing as it prevents it from coming to the surface. It also helps to fade scarring from old spots.
Disciple Balancing Mist: I was introduced to this brand in early summer and fell in love with the products. It's a very affordable brand designed for stressed out skin and uses natural ingredients to help treat the skin both externally and internally by reducing stress. I finished this mist recently and missed it from my routine so I had to repurchase. It contains geranium water and copper peptides that boost collagen and elastin. It is said to help with hormonal and thyroid issues, which I cannot attest to but what I can say is that it feels soothing on the skin and the scent is calming. I use it as part of my skincare routine but also during the day when I feel like I need to just take a moment to myself. It's ideal for office workers to hydrate the skin but also to inhale the scent and reset before getting back to work.

theBalm Furrowcious Brow Pencil: I really love these brow pencils because the retractable nib is very fine so I can mimic the look of hairs in areas where my brow hairs are sparse. The formula isn't too stiff but neither is it too soft so it doesn't smudge or break. If you like Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, you will love this brow pencil and it's £10 cheaper.
Escentric Molecules 01: After reading about this perfume for a few years, I was lucky enough to receive it in Cult Beauty's 10th Birthday box. I fell in love with this fragrance and finished the bottle quite quickly so I had to repurchase because I missed it in my life. It smells different on everybody because it reacts with the wearer's pheromones to create an individual scent. I can smell it on my skin for hours after I spray it and I have had so many compliments from family, friends and strangers when I wear it.
Have you tried any of these products? Do you often repurchase products? I'd love to hear!
Thanks for reading!
