It's that time of the month again when payday is approaching and lots of us are thinking about the possibility of treating ourselves. I usually post three budget categories but this month, I am including an under £10 section because I have an absolute bargain to share with you!
Under £10:
Under £10:
Wet N Wild Mega Glo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals: I am so happy that I can finally include this highlighter in one of these posts now that Beauty Bay are stocking Wet N Wild. For the low price, you might expect the texture of this highlighter to be very chalky or powdery but it's anything but. It melts into the skin to give the skin a gorgeous sheen but can be layered for a more intense effect. I adore this particular shade but it if looks too warm for your liking, they also have the cool toned Blossom Glow. £3.75.
£11 to £30:
Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow: A recent release from Hourglass, available in five shades - I have Smoke. These are what I would call sophisticated glitters, suitable even for mature lids. They are a cream to powder formula, are smooth in texture, with no chunks of glitter and there is no chance of fall down with these shadows - perfect if you have sensitive eyes. They are intensely pigmented but still very easy to work with. I also find this shadow to be very long-lasting on the eye, without creasing. Not cheap at £26, but worth it if you feel like splashing out.
£31 to £50:
Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette: The ultimate eyeshadow palette! 21 stunning shadows in a variety of finishes, this palette covers all scenarios - day/night/natural/bright/smokey! I have reviewed it in full here and there are swatches in that post too. If you don't own many palettes, this will be ideal due to the variety of shades, or if you are looking to downsize your collection, you could replace a number of palettes with just this one. Gorgeous shades, gorgeous texture and gorgeous packaging. £39.50.
Over £50:
Mugler Aura Eau De Toilette: Would one of these posts be complete without a perfume?! Housed in a stunning heart-shaped bottle that has a jewel effect and metallic M, this fragrance is lightly sweet and a little woody with a trace of floral. Originally released in Eau De Parfum form, this Eau De Toilette is a recent addition to the range. Notes of vanilla, pear and almond among others combine to create a very unique scent that smells, to me, like Granny Smith apples initially and then dries down to reveal the combination of vanilla and pear. Feminine without being girly. It lasts a good 7 hours on me, which is brilliant for an EDT. £60 for 50ml.
Will you be treating yourself to anything this month? Have any of these caught your eye?
