New additions to the L'Occitane Verbena Collection that you need this summer!

L'Occitane Icy Verbena Review, L'Occitane Mint Verbena Review, L'Occitane Citrus Verbena Review

Scent is such a powerful sense and can instantly make us feel so many emotions. I love the original L'Occitane Verbena range - the scent brings back so many happy childhood memories of time spent in my Granda's garden. I loved his garden and we were very close so I can't help but smile when I smell anything containing that tangy citrus scent! This summer, three new limited edition lines have been added to the Verbena range and I was kindly sent some products to try: Icy Verbena, Citrus Verbena and Mint Verbena. Let me tell you that these are just as refreshing as they sound and the perfect products to get you through the heatwave!

The Icy Shower Gel is pretty unique in that it can be applied to dry skin, which instantly cools the body, before lathering with water to release the scent. Of course, it can be used as a regular shower gel - either way the scent is uplifting and refreshing. This is perfect on hot summer mornings! It's also worth noting that I find L'Occitane shower gels don't leave the skin feeling stripped or dry. £16 or €18.50. Also in the Icy Verbena line, is the Icy Body Gel, which instantly cools and moisturises the skin at the same time - it is a real treat on a hot day and is even better if you store it in the fridge, which intensifies the cooling effect! £24 or €26. This duo is made for holidays & the heatwave we've been experiencing. If you like the sound of these products, you can save £10/€10.50 by buying the set!

I love the scent of the Mint Verbena Shower Gel because I find the addition of mint to be very invigorating as well as the uplifting and refreshing scent of verbena. It's like a mojito in a shower gel - again, perfect for summer mornings to put a pep in your step. It also lightly exfoliates the skin, which is a bonus! A little goes a long way with these shower gels so although the price is more expensive than a supermarket shower gel, a 250ml bottle will last quite a while. £16 or €18.50.

Finally from the Citrus Verbena line, I have the Hair & Body Mist, which is a staple in my handbag at the moment because the 50ml size is ideal and I can refresh on the go. I adore this mist because it's tangy with notes of lemon and grapefruit yet it isn't too sharp - just enough to invigorate! I also love that it's safe to use in the hair because any movement then refreshes the scent and it also doesn't dry the hair out or make it greasy. £14 or €16. I think I might but the exfoliating sugars in this line.

I would find it difficult to choose my favourite of the three limited edition scents because they are all right up my street as I love anything refreshing and invigorating but the Icy Verbena line is perfect for the hot weather we've been experiencing because it has the added benefit of cooling the skin.

Do you like the sound of these products? Which would you like to try most? I'd love to hear!
