I have to say that Pixi do the best PR packages and I am very grateful that I am a recipient because everything is packaged so beautifully and receiving a package feels so special. I was buying and using Pixi products long before I received anything from them so I can genuinely say that I'm a fan of the brand. The most recent releases are Glowy-Glossamer Duos and Liquid Fairy Lights, which I have been using over the past few weeks and want to share my thoughts on with you today. If you are a fan of glittery eyes and glowy skin, read on!
Liquid Fairy Lights: Liquid glitter eyeshadows are really having their moment and I am personally a fan because I find that there is less chance of fall down and also they are generally much easier to apply than traditional glitters. Pixi have released five shades, which I was over the moon to have received. There is something for everyone in here and they can be used alone or as a shadow topper, depending on your own personal taste.

From left to right:
SunRay: an olive green with pale gold glitter.
PassionLight: a deep bronzey-red with gold glitter.
BareBrilliance: a stunning taupe with grey-silver glitter.
RoseGold: As the name suggests, a beautiful rose gold with glitter in the same shade.
Crystalline: White iridescent glitter.
All of the shadows are pigmented and very easy to apply. They are soothing and cooling when first applied thanks to the chamomile and rose extracts they contain. I don't want to say that there is zero falldown because I have noticed some and whilst the texture is generally smooth, Crystalline feels a little grittier than the others. They are all long-lasting and the glitter/shimmer is really beautiful when it catches the light. I personally don't wear glitter during the day but would choose BareBrilliance as the perfect daytime shade if I wanted to add some sparkle. £15 is a pretty good price for these liquid shadows as they are more suited to night-time or special occasions as opposed to daily wear so you don't need to break the bank for a product that isn't going to be used daily.

Glow-y Glossamer Duos:
From left to right:
Delicate Dew: The shade on the right would be ideal for fair skin tones, it's a cool toned ice pink shade and the one on the left is slightly warmer. They also work well when blended together.
Subtle Sunrise: On the right is a pale yellow gold and the shade on the right is quite peachy. Perfect for medium to dark skin tones.
We all know by now that I am a huge fan of highlighters and have tried so many brands and formulas and I have to say that this Pixi offering is up there with the best in terms of texture! To the touch, they almost feel slightly powdery but they melt into the skin and blend like a cream to create a very natural looking highlight. They don't give the disco-ball/can be seen from outer space finish of some highlighters but they are extremely flattering and don't highlight texture or fine lines. I love that there two shades in each palette and at £20, it's hard to argue with the price for the quality.
Available from Pixi and ASOS.
Have you hopped on the glittery eye train yet? Do any of these catch your eye? I'd love to hear!
