The Spring Beauty Edit

Apparently it's Spring - the weather just needs to catch up! With the change in season, I always like to switch up my makeup and I've been going through my stash this week, picking out products to put in my Muji drawers for everyday use. It's nice to put the berry lips and heavier base products away in favour of lighter, softer shades!

I need to finish this Marc Jacobs Perfecting Coconut Primer so I'll be reaching for that a lot over the coming months - it's lightweight, yet hydrating and it pairs beautifully with Maybelline Fit Me Dewy & Smooth foundation that I bought recently in New York. I love how light this foundation feels on the skin and the finish isn't overly dewy - I'd describe it more as radiant.

I am obsessed with Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter - the light gold shade is very flattering and the texture is beautiful - it's easy to apply a light amount or to build intensity. It's definitely one of the most beautiful highlighters in my collection. To add some colour to my cheeks and give some definition, I'll be using the Too Faced Natural Face Palette, which is new to my collection and houses 2 blushes, 2 bronzers and 2 highlighters. To set everything, I'll use Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray.

For my brows, I am currently loving theBalm Furrowcious Brow Pencil - the nib is the finest I've ever used and it makes it really easy to mimic the appearance of brow hairs. For eyeshadow, I'll be using either Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette or Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam - both have beautiful, soft shades but they can also be used to achieve a stronger look if the mood takes me! The shadows in both palettes are so easy to work with due to their smooth and soft texture.

I'm a gloss girl at heart and the two that I think I'll be wearing most often are from Anastasia Beverly Hills in Dainty and Undressed - both are nude, one a peachy nude and the other is more pinky. Both are easy to wear and will go with the eye looks that I can create with both palettes. They're pretty pigmented for glosses and non-sticky so they're very comfortable on the lips and they won't stick to my hair!

Have you switched to Spring appropriate makeup yet? I'd love to hear what you'll be wearing?
