World Duty Free Exclusive: Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Power Of 3 Set

Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Power Of 3 Set Review

I don't know about you, but one of my favourite things about going on holiday, is shopping in Duty Free! I always squirrel away some money so I can have a splurge as there is great value to be had - whether it's stocking up on firm favourites or trying something new. I particularly like to buy products that are expensive on the high street as there is always a saving of at least 15% in World Duty Free. Today, I have the perfect example of the brilliant value there is available: this Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Power of 3 Set has a value of £440, but it can be purchased for £290. Yes, it's still expensive but if you use this line anyway, you can save £150! Don't forget that you don't have to be travelling yourself to avail of the amazing value because there is the reserve & collect option, whereby you can browse the site (select your terminal and date of travel first), then add products to your basket and then either you or whoever is travelling can pay and collect when they get to the airport and you will pay the price you reserved it at. I've used it a few times and found it really convenient!

The Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Power of 3 Set contains a day cream, night cream and eye cream. The Absolue range is for those who are concerned by signs of ageing in their skin and it aims to regenerate the skin to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. 20 years of research on skin stem cells went into this range, which is described by Lancome as being inspired by nature but refined by science - the perfect combination. I love the gold packaging, which is weighty and feels luxurious (it's just a pain to photograph!).

Absolue Precious Cells is a day moisturiser, which contains SPF15. It is a rich, luxurious cream however it doesn't feel greasy on the skin and absorbs quickly. It intensely nourishes dry skin to leave it feeling supple and plump and with consistent use, fine lines are diminished, which means that foundation applies more evenly and skin is comfortable whilst looking younger.

Absolue Nuit Precious Cells is, as the name suggests, the night cream in the line. Again, very rich and nourishing but it doesn't clog the pores and the morning after use, the skin looks fresh and plump, feels soft and smooth and the thirst is quenched. If I could only repurchase one of the three products, it would be this one - who doesn't want to wake to younger looking skin?

Absolue Eye Precious Cells is an eye cream that you will notice a difference with within a few days of use. Like the other products, it's rich in texture but it really doesn't feel greasy so don't worry about your concealer not applying well over this eye cream, because I find that it actually applies for evenly and smoothly. The under eye are looks plump, fresh and younger when using this cream. It's expensive, but definitely one of the best I've used.

Do you like to have a splurge in Duty Free? What's usually on your list - skincare/makeup/perfume? I'd love to hear!
