If you're a regular browser or shopper of Cult Beauty, you will know that each month, they have a Brand Of The Month, where they shine a light on a particular brand and offer free shipping worldwide for that month. For March, it is Anastasia Beverly Hills, which coincides with their three latest releases: Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette, Bronzers and Amrezy Highlighter. If you read my Brand Focus post, you will know that I am a huge fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills and today I want to share my five favourite products with you!
Brow Definer: Anastasia Beverly Hills is synonymous with good brows and they have a product to suit all tastes and requirements: a gel, pomade, powder and pencil. I have tried them all apart from the powder and my favourite has to be the Brow Definer. What I really love about this product, is the angled nib, which makes it so easy and quick to do my brows. The texture of the product itself is the perfect balance between stiff and soft - it won't break when using, but it also won't smudge everywhere. I also love that it has a spoolie on one end and that it's retractable so I don't need to worry about having a sharpener at hand.
Glow Kit: Anastasia Beverly Hills do powder products really well and these highlighting kits are no exception. Each kit contains four powders in a variety of shades that can be used individually or layered. They are very finely milled and smooth in texture, which means that they apply and blend into the skin beautifully! They can be applied with a very light hand for a lit from within glow or built up to a high level of intensity by using a damp beauty blender. I like that the four powders can be removed so that you don't need to bring the whole kit when travelling.
Lip Glosses: I adore the lip glosses because they're pigmented, smooth in texture, apply evenly and are non-sticky - very important! I find glossy lips so much more flattering than matte lips and because these are pigmented, they actually last on the lips longer than any other gloss I own.
Eyeshadows: I have quite a few ABH eyeshadow palettes, my favourite being the Master Palette By Mario, which was limited edition. If pre-made palettes aren't your thing, then I would recommend putting your own quad together by choosing individual shadows that are to your taste. Whilst Prism and Subculture had mixed reviews, I think that most people agree that Modern Renaissance is a stunning palette. Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented, buttery soft, easy to blend and long-lasting on the lids. In my opinion, apart from Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath, these are the best shadows on the market and they are a lot more affordable than those two other brands so they are an all round winner.
Blush Kit: Finally, the most recent addition to my ABH collection but a product that has seriously impressed me is the Blush Kit. There are two colour combinations available and I have the Radiant option. These blushes have that same buttery soft texture as the other powder products have and they can be used individually or blended together by swirling your blush brush around all four. I personally prefer to use them individually but a light hand is necessary as they are seriously pigmented.
Are you a fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills products? What would be your top five from the brand? I'd love to hear!
Don't forget that there is free shipping on the brand with Cult Beauty this month if anything catches your eye!
