Laura Geller is a brand that impresses me more and more with every product I use. It started with one of her Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators then a primer and grew from there! Laura is often credited with introducing primers to our makeup bags but she is also synonymous with baked products. If you want to see Laura in action, she will be on QVC TV next month. I was recently sent some more products from her range and want to share my thoughts on them with you today!
Because I am so dry-skinned, I always prefer to wear liquid or cream foundations however I have found that I get great results with Balance-n-Brighten Baked Foundation by using it as a finishing powder. I buff it gently into my skin (using a minimal amount) and I find that it really blurs the look of pores and fine lines and doesn't look at all 'powdery' on my skin The texture is surprisingly creamy for a powder and I find that the shade fair adds a subtle glow to my skin as well as a polished finish. The key is to use a small amount of product and a densely packed brush.
I've raved about her Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators previously so I was delighted to receive Diamond Dust. Although it looks white in the pan, it actually has a pink shift which makes it more wearable. This is ideal for those with pale skin or who like the mermaid look. The buttery soft texture of these highlighters is a dream to use - it is so easy to apply and blend into the skin and the staying power is excellent - it doesn't fade until it's being removed!
I'm a gloss girl at heart so these Lip Luster Lip Glosses are right up my street! They tick all of the boxes for me - high shine, non-gloopy, non-sticky, moisturising and pretty pigmented. Pink Cake is actually more peachy nude than pink - the perfect everyday colour that is easy to wear with all looks, whereas Berry Smoothie is more mid-pink than the name suggests but it is another beautiful everyday colour - exactly the kind of shade that I like to wear.
Have you tried any Laura Geller products? I'd love to hear your thoughts on these!
