Christmas Gift Guide: Bath & Body

I hope you enjoyed the skincare installment of my Christmas Gift Guide yesterday, today it's all about bath & body products. I personally love to receive a gift in this genre because I love a good pamper session and usually only use budget body products so to receive something a little fancier is a real treat! I have five products that I hope will serve as some inspiration as a gift for somebody in your life who needs a good pamper!

First up is Temple Spa Drift Away, which is a bath and massage oil that has the most relaxing scent. It contains patchouli, lavender, geranium, frankincense, chamomile essential oils as well as sweet almond, avocado and jojoba oils and a host of other calming and nourishing ingredients. It works well as both a bath oil and as a massage oil and I think it would make an ideal gift for parents of young children or those who are ill and need help to unwind and sleep well.

King of Korres Shower Gel Set is a really affordable set of three full size bottles of shower gel in the scents Japanese Rose, Fig and Santorini Vine, which are their best sellers. Korres is a very under-rated brand in my opinion. The products have the most beautiful fragrance combinations and are high end quality with mid-level prices. These shower gels foam really well yet they don't strip the skin of moisture and the scent fills the whole bathroom. I also love the festive packaging of this set.

Next up are three luxury body creams. I think they are the ultimate treat after a bath or shower, but I don't like products that need to be vigorously rubbed in because you shouldn't need to feel like you are getting a workout when you are applying body creams! All three of these body creams absorb easily and quickly and are very nourishing on the skin making them perfect for the colder months

For fans of rose-scented products, I have Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose Body Soufflé, which has a lightly whipped formula and is delicately scented. I bought this for my mother who, like me, is a huge fan of rose-scented anything! Next up is another Temple Spa product - Body Truffle, which in my opinion, is decadence at its finest. This is a very luxurious product that adds a subtle glow to the skin, whilst nourishing and firming at the same time. It absorbs so quickly, yet my skin feels soft for hours after application. It is probably my favourite of the three body creams in this post. Finally, a real treat for any Jo Malone fan is one of their body creams, in this case Blackberry & Bay. I like to wear these body creams to extend the wear time of my fragrance but also to layer with a different scented cologne. It can change the fragrance slightly depending on the combination - for example, make it fruitier, muskier, fresher etc depending on the fragrances involved. Any Jo Malone fan would love one of these!

Have any of these caught your eye? What's your favourite type of beauty gift to receive at Christmas? I'd love to hear!
