My current evening skincare routine featuring Estée Lauder, Alpha H, Dr Botanicals & more!

Following on from Sunday's post all about my morning skincare routine, today I am sharing my current evening routine. Again, these products are all consistent in my routine and all that I have been using over the past 4/5 weeks - obviously some I have been using for longer but this group of products are the only I have used in recent times and consistency is key for me.

Double Cleanse:

I begin by removing my makeup or SPF with DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. (mini bottle available here). A bottle of this oil is sold every 10 seconds worldwide and with very good reason - it literally breaks down every last scrap of makeup instantly and doesn't sting the eyes or leave a greasy residue on the skin. I apply 1 or 2 pumps into my hands and then massage it all over my dry face before emulsifying with water and rinsing thoroughly. My skin is left clean but not stripped and I don't get foggy eyes associated with some oily makeup removers.

I then use a cleansing balm and at the moment, it is always Oskia Perfect Cleanser. This is a really nourishing cleanser that leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, comfortable and hydrated. Read more here.

Exfoliate:

I either use Alpha-H Liquid Gold, Alpha-H Rose Gold or Pestle & Mortar Superstar. With Liquid Gold, I can almost feel it eating away at the dead skin cells and the next morning my skin looks clear and refined and feels smooth. I always need to follow it with further products because my skin would feel dry otherwise. I will have a review/comparison post of the original Liquid Gold and Rose Gold up soon - I find that Rose Gold adds some hydration to my skin but will go into further detail in the upcoming post. Some nights I use Superstar, which is a retinol that has helped to plump my fine lines and combat blemishes and leave my skin in overall better condition. Read more here.

Spritz:

As with my morning routine, I spritz with January Labs Restorative Tonic Mist. It is the perfect product to balance the skin after acids.

Serum:

I have been consistently using my favourite ever skincare product, which will come as no surprise to regular readers - it's Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I have repurchased this product - it does it all - hydrates, strengthens, repairs, plumps, soothes and firms the skin. If you only want to splurge on one skincare product then this should be it.

Eye Cream:

As with my morning routine, I have been consistently using Bio-Extracts Eye Contour Age Defying Cream with a boost of Lift and Firm. My eye area is plump and fine lines appear diminished so what's not to love? I'm a huge fan of this range!

Moisturiser:

I am alternating between using GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud, which is a mask but I prefer to leave it on as an overnight treatment and I wake up to plump, hydrated skin. The other two are Dr Botanicals Advanced 8-Hour Overnight Renewal Cream and Alpha-H Liquid Gold 24 Hour Moisture Cream. The Dr Botanicals product is a balm, which breaks down into an oil and it intensely nourishes my skin so I use this on nights where I feel that my skin is very dry. The Alpha-H product really revitalizes my skin leaving it looking bright, smooth and more even in texture.

I also obviously use masks, exfoliators and oils in my routine too on pamper evenings and I'll be sharing my favourite products that I am using very consistently on Thursday in my final skincare installment.

Have you tried any of these products? What does your evening skincare routine consist of? I would love to hear in the comments below!

All products are bought by me, unless otherwise stated. In this case, the Dr Botanicals, Bio-Extracts & DHC products were sent to me. Opinion is always my own.
