Recent purchases featuring Benefit, Too Faced, By Terry, This Works & more!

Sorry for my unplanned absence on the blog! I had a sinus infection and just felt pretty rotten so it was a case of doing nothing but resting, reading, watching tv and online shopping!!! Today I want to show you the products that I've bought over the last few weeks - some were sale items & some were products that I had wanted for a while. I have to say that I haven't found the sales to be great this year - I nabbed a few bargains but in comparison to previous years, there weren't many things that tempted me, which is probably better fro my bank balance! Anyway, on to what I did buy!

I missed the limited edition release of  the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette last year so grabbed it as soon as it was re-released recently. I'm a huge fan of Too Faced products, in general, but particularly the eyeshadows because they are so buttery soft, pigmented and easy to use so I can't wait to use this and I will definitely buy a few more products from the rest of the Sweet Peach collection when it is released on Janueary 19th in Debenhams.

I really love Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and had wanted Secret Salma from her Hot Lips collection for a while, so I bought it and from first glance, I think it looks quite similar to Kiss Chase from her limited edition lipsticks that were released around Valentine's Day last year but this one is matte. I will post swatches of both on instagram soon.

I needed a new Beautyblender so decided to buy the Nude option so that it might look a little less grubby when it needs a wash! I've really missed this because I don't think any brush compares in the finish it gives to my foundation.

One of the sale bargains that I got was a By Terry Ombre Blackstar in the shade Midnight Forest, which is a beautiful rich green shade. I like these shadow sticks for a quick and easy eye look but the By Terry version is pretty pricey, however this was half price at £14.50 in the Space NK sale.

Another sale bargain was YSL Limited Edition Touche Eclat, which was half price in the Brown Thomas sale at €17.50. It is in a glittery gold tube rather than the regular gold packaging. I received one on a gift set at Christmas and it reminded me how much I love this under eye brightener so I had to snap this one up. It is so lightweight, doesn't crease and really brightens my under eye area.

I purchased a back up of Natasha Denona Face Glow foundation from Beauty Bay because it's almost half price in the sale (€17.40) and I really love how it looks on my skin. It gives a youthful glow without looking greasy, makes my skin look healthy and is long-wearing.

By Terry Cellularose CC Brightening Lumi Serum Apricot Glow was reduced to half price in the Feel Unique sale, so I snapped it up because I have heard lots of good things about it in terms of blurring imperfections but also in terms of the skin benefits with long term use. I am particularly interested to see if it makes any difference to my areas of pigmentation - I will keep you posted on that!

I went a little brow crazy and bought three Benefit products: Precisely My Brow, Gimme Brow and Ready, Set, Brow. I am almost finished Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer and whilst I love it, I just felt like a change. Precisely My Brow looks very similar to Anastasia Brow Wiz, with a very fine nib so I am hoping that I'll like it. I've been meaning to buy Gimme Brow for so long and so many people rave about it and I also needed a brow gel so bought Ready, Set, Brow on a whim. I will let you know how I find them in a few weeks.

You all know how much I love the This Works Deep Sleep range, so when I saw This Works Bedtime Bliss Gift Set on Beauty Bay reduced to €11, I snapped it up! It has a value of over €60 and contains a full size This Works Deep Sleep Night Oil, a full size Deep Sleep Bath Soak and two mini tubes of  Deep Sleep Pillow Sprays, which will be perfect for weekends away or for on flights. This was my best bargain but it is now sold out. This Works have lots of bargains on their site though if you are interested in trying some of their products.

I wanted to buy Bondi Sands Dry Oil but couldn't find any so I ended up buying two bottles of the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion Dark instead because I know that I love it. I'll keep my eye out for the oil though because I really want to try that.

I bought a refill of Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts because I have missed having them in my life! I use these to make sure that I will have an epic night's sleep and I bought them because I'm having trouble adjusting my sleeping pattern after the festive season and from being on so much medication.

There is so much hype in Ireland at the moment on Spotlight Teeth Whitening Strips so, of course, I had to buy them and see what the hype is about! I will use them daily for 2 weeks and let you know my thoughts!

That's everything I bought while on bed rest! I would love to hear if you have tried any of these products and your thoughts on them? What bargains did you get in the sales? Please tell me in the comments below!
