The Autumn/Winter Glow Edit Part One: Skincare featuring Oskia, Korres, Estée Lauder, Omorovicza & more!

Healthy, glowing skin is something that I think we all aspire to - I'm not talking about a dewy finish, just radiant, glowing skin, which can be quite difficult to achieve in Autumn/Winter. Today, I want to share the products that I use in my skincare routine to achieve that sought after glow and later this week, I will share my favourite glow-giving makeup products because sometimes my skin needs that extra help! Some of the products were sent to me and have been previously reviewed but most I bought myself - opinion on all of them is completely honest. I am on long term antibiotics, which has really affected my hair, nails and, most definitely, my skin so I work really hard at trying to combat dryness, dullness and fatigued skin. I also have an open fire and the central heating sucks the moisture out of my skin. If you suffer with the same issues, I hope that you will find some inspiration here today!

Cleanser: I have far too many cleansers in my collection but my favourites for brightening my skin are Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse. I love to really massage my cleanser in to get the blood flowing and I love the texture of both of these cleansers - the Oskia is a gel to oil and the Skinesis cleanser is a balm. The Oskia cleanser contains fruit enzymes, which lightly exfoliate the skin and also Vitamin C&E, which brighten and strengthen the skin. The Sarah Chapman cleanser is a joy to use - it deeply cleanses and nourishes the skin and is particularly good for Autumn/Winter. Neither of these cleansers will strip your skin or leave it feeling tight and sore or red.

Toner: I have tried a number of exfoliating toners and the one that I constantly come back to and have repurchased several times is Pixi Glow Tonic. This AHA toner contains 5% glycolic acid so it is perfect for everyday use, even on sensitive skin like mine. It brightens my skin, leaves it feeling very soft to touch and glowing. If you have never tried this toner, then I really urge you to give it a go because your skin will thank you.

Hydrating Spray: I love a good hydrating spray and one of my favourites is Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist. This spray is packed with hyaluronic acid, which retains moisture in the skin, without feeling like it has added a heavy layer to the skin. The result is plump and dewy skin - result!

Essence: Until Omorovicza Omoressence was sent to me, I had never used an essence but it is now a staple in my routine. I have always had dry skin, but since I started to use this product, I no longer suffer with dehydration patches. A few drops of this daily soothes my skin (as all Omorovicza products do), but it also really quenches its thirst and prepares it for the next step.

Serum: Serums are probably my favourite skincare products (alongside masks!) and I probably own far too many but my favourites for this time of year are Dr Botanicals Super Concentrate Radiance Boosting Serum, which was kindly sent to me, Omorovicza Gold Flash Firming Serum and Sarah Chapman Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster. The Dr Botanicals serum is extremely soothing on the skin and is also very nourishing and my skin immediately glows when I apply it - I find that it helps my skin to look less fatigued (which is always a good thing!). The Omorovicza serum is full of anti-aging ingredients and my skin instantly looks brighter and more radiant when I apply this serum. The Sarah Chapman serum is the most hydrating serum that I have ever tried, yet it absorbs easily without any residue left on the skin but the moisturising effect can be felt for hours after application. All of these serums absorb immediately, don't feel heavy on the skin and really help to plump my skin, diminish fine lines and add radiance.

Moisturiser: This is where I need your help - I am still on the look out for the perfect glow-giving moisturiser. I have tried lots of good moisturisers and Origins Plantscription is probably the best I have tried to date, but I still don't feel like I have found "the one" - do you have any suggestions? At the moment, I am loving oils and the two that I find myself reaching for most often are Korres Wild Rose Advanced Brightening Face Oil and Omorovicza Miracle Facial Oil (both of which were sent to me). The Korres oil is really nourishing, yet light in texture and not at all greasy. This oil really brightens my skin and makes it glow and look more youthful. The Omorovicza oil is extremely nourishing and is perfect for parched skin, yet it absorbs very quickly without leaving a residue but the moisturising effects can be felt for hours after application. It contains jojoba seed oil, evening primrose oil and sweet almond oil. I use this both on its own or added to my moisturiser for an extra boost.

Eye cream: This Galore Anti-Aging Eye Perfection Creamy Gel doesn't necessarily add a glow to the skin but the gel/cream formulation helps to make my eye area look less fatigued. It reduces puffiness, whilst also moisturising the eye area, diminishing fine lines and overall, makes the skin look more awake. This was kindly sent to me by Galore Cosmetics and I will definitely be repurchasing.

Overnight treatments: The one staple that I have used for around 7 years is Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. This serum does everything that I want it to - it firms, hydrates, smooths, strengthens and repairs my skin. If I could only use one luxury skincare product for the rest of my life, this would be it. I cannot even guess how many times that I have repurchased this product! Another overnight product that I love is Alpha H Liquid Gold. This is another AHA product but with a higher content of Glycolic Acid that Pixi Glow Tonic so it wouldn't be suitable to use every night but around twice weekly, I will apply this with a cotton pad and the next morning my skin always looks brighter due to the cell renewal brought about by this exfoliating treatment. My pores always look more refined and my skin looks more glowy. Another product that I highly recommend but I recently ran out of is Sunday Riley Good Genes, which is a powerful exfoliant that visibly brightens and renews the skin but isn't harsh on my sensitive skin. I will be repurchasing as soon as I finish some other skincare products and can see it becoming a staple in my routine.

Masks: I have a lot of masks in my collection but my three favourites in terms of radiance and glow are: Oskia Renaissance Mask, Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask and GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud. Regular readers will have heard me rave about all 3 of these masks several times before but they are worth the praise. The Oskia mask contains fruit enzymes, which leave my skin bright, smooth, soft and radiant - I cannot recommend this mask enough! The Omorovicza mask deeply cleanses, firms, lifts and adds an overall radiance to the skin similar to the effects of a salon facial (read more here). The GLAMGLOW mask is probably the most hydrating mask that I have ever used, which I love to use it as an overnight treatment after a deep cleansing or exfoliating mask. I wake up to plump, soft and glowing skin. I have repurchased this more times than I can remember! Read more about my favourite masks here.

I would love to hear your thoughts on these products and also your product recommendations - especially in terms of your favourite moisturiser. Do you up your skincare regime at this time of year? I would love to hear in the comments below! Stayed tuned for my glowing makeup picks coming soon!
