You may have noticed a lack of haul posts here on the blog recently (especially compared to last year!) but the truth is there was nothing new that really excited me last month. Also, I have quite a large collection of makeup at this stage so I don't want to buy products if they don't really grab my attention. That being said, when my best friend went to the U.S. recently, she kindly offered to pick up a few things for me so I stuck to products that are unavailable to buy this side if the Atlantic! I also picked up some more Essie gel nail polishes because I love how long-lasting they are. Let's get started!
Surprisingly, I only have one skincare item and that is the Tatcha Bestsellers Set. I adore the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and really want to try more products from the brand but they aren't available to buy in store here. This set contains deluxe sample sizes of Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder, Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream and Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It is priced at $59, with a value of $75 so there isn't a huge saving to be had compared to some skincare sets but it is a perfect way to try a few products from the brand without spending too much. I am very excited to start using these products and will let you know my thoughts over the coming weeks.
I then went a little Anastasia Beverly Hills crazy and got some products that we can't buy here. It actually really bugs me that only some Anastasia products are available here (no lip products!) and why was the Mario palette only released in the U.S.? Moving on! I bought Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Allison, which is a new holiday release and I think it looks very similar to Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita so if you already own that, I don't think you need both. I previously owned one Anastasia Liquid Lipstick and found it far too drying on my lips so I'm not sure why I chose this but I'm hoping for better luck this time!
I love Anastasia lip glosses so I bought the shade Undressed, which is a nude and my go to everyday type of colour. These glosses apply very smoothly, are not sticky, are pretty opaque and can be layered on top of lipsticks without separating so I am looking forward to using this one.
Of course, I had to take the opportunity to buy the Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario. I adore the formula and pigmentation of Anastasia eyeshadows and the shades in this palette are right up my street. It is limited edition but if you have missed out, I have already spotted a palette in my collection that is very similar and I will have a comparison post up soon, so fear not if you couldn't get your hands on this one.
Finally for makeup, I got the Lorac Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette, which I have had on my wishlist for a few years. I already know that I love the Lorac formulation from the Pro Palettes that I own, so I have high hoped for this palette. All of the warm tones are right up my street and I cannot wait to use it.
I also bought two nail polishes from the Essie Gel Couture range: Bubbles Only, which is a burgundy red, perfect for this time of year and Make The Cut, which is a nude greige, which I also love at this time of year when I want to wear cool tones. They are currently Buy One, Get One Half Price in Boots. I know that I will add more to my collection because these nail polishes are so long wearing, especially when combined with the top coat.
I know that if you live outside of the U.S. some of these products are difficult to get hold of so I will link to Roses Beauty Store below, where you can buy some of them, although at increased prices but you won't be charged any duty/fees on arrival.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Undressed Lip Gloss: £22
Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario: £54.95 (currently sold out but you can join the waitlist)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Allison: £24.95
Lorac Unzipped Palette: £42
I would love to hear your thoughts on these products! Have you been able to nab one of the Mario palettes? I'd also love to hear what you've been buying recently? Please tell me in the comments below!
