June 2015 favourites - a year on & do I still love them?

Before I started blogging, I used to watch youtube monthly favourites videos and read monthly favourite blog posts and wonder if the vlogger/blogger really rotated their products that often that they would actually have new/different favourites each month. Then I started blogging and realised that, yes, it is possible to have new favourites each month! I rarely post more than 6 favourites because my staples are always in the background but when I was starting to compile this month's list, it got me thinking to what I was loving this time last year and whether I still enjoyed using them, hence today's post! I will link last year's post here so you can take a read if you want to, but all products will be mentioned here again with my updated thoughts on them. I'd love to hear if you are still loving your favourites from this time last year too?

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Mask: Yes, I absolutely still love this mask and regularly use it and have repurchased it in the last 12 months. This mask is a wonder product - it contains fruit enzymes, which exfoliates and really brightens the complexion. It also de-congests the skin and the lactic acid softens the skin. When I use this, my skin instantly looks brighter and more radiant - as though I have had a facial. It is pricey, but it is worth every cent. Still a favourite.

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess perfume & body cream: The scent of summer! I recently finished this bottle of Bronze Goddess and I already had a back-up but I haven't bought the body cream this year because it's quite expensive and I've done enough splurging recently. Having said that, if I had the body cream, I would still be loving and using it because I adore the scent. If you like the smell of suncreams/coconut, then you will love the Bronze Goddess range. Still a favourite.

Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer: I tend to only use this with cream eyeshadows or eyeshadow sticks because I much prefer Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. I have very dry skin and very oily eyelids and the Nars primer is hands down the nest I have tried and I recently repurchased and remembered why I loved it so much and why it is the best because even in the intense Florida heat, my shadow didn't budge. Still like it but no longer a favourite.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer: I recently started using this more frequently again and am in love all over again! It was a last minute addition to my holiday make-up bag and I used it both as eyeshadow & bronzer while I was away. It is quite pigmented so a light hand is definitely needed but I adore the effect this has on the cheeks, due to the marbled bronze/highlight mix. Still a firm favourite.

Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette: I was desperate to get my hands on this palette when it was released last year and it was all I used for a few weeks afterwards and on plenty of occasions since then, but I haven't used it in a while because I was making a conscious effort to use the palettes mentioned in my 'Five palettes I lusted after, bought but rarely used' post. I love matte eyeshadows so will definitely use this more regularly but having recently bought the Viseart Neutral Matte Eyeshadow palette, I think this will take a back seat for another while. Love it, but not a current favourite.

I'm curious to know if you were to look back at your favourites from this time last year, if you are still using the same products or if you have changed your opinion on them? Do your favourites change from month to month depending on what you have recently bought or do you actively rotate the products in your collection? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
