A big, fat Sephora haul featuring Tarte, Sunday Riley, Viseart, Anastasia Beverly Hills & lots more!

This Sephora haul has been a long time coming! I've been pretty good with my beauty spending since we booked our holiday to Orlando in January because I knew I would want to splurge in Sephora - and splurge, I did!! We had an absolutely amazing holiday in Disney World and because we were having such a fun time, I didn't want to spend a lot of time shopping so I only went to Sephora and Bath & Body Works (although I kinda wish I had gone to Ulta too!). I visited two Sephora stores and neither was very big or very well stocked on some of the brands/products I wanted but both had very friendly staff who weren't overly pushy. I became a VIB Rouge member on my second visit, so it wasn't that everything I wanted was out of stock (as you can tell from the picture above!) and I am delighted with all that I bought! I mainly stuck to buying products that aren't available to buy in store in Ireland so that it wouldn't be a wasted opportunity. So let's get into it! I've decided to break it down into categories - skincare, eyes, face, lips and sundries!

Skincare:

This was where my biggest disappointment was because I wanted to purchase a few Tatcha products but they only had the Luminous Dewy Face Mist (which I bought) and Rice Enzyme Powder in stock. All other skincare products in the range were sold out and also some skincare sets that I hoped to pick up were unavailable. So what did I buy?

I have wanted to try some Sunday Riley products for a long time but they are so expensive, which meant I was hesitant about buying but when I saw that Sephora sold a Power Couple Duo Set, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try two products that have been on my wishlist for the longest time.

From Fresh, I bought Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil. I had hoped to pick up one of their mask gift sets but they were sold out!

I bought three GLAMGLOW products: Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser, GravityMud and a sample pot of Flashmud. So far, I have only tried the moisturiser, which I love but I am looking forward to trying the masks later this week.

I picked up a small bottle of boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil, which I am excited to try and also a small bottle of Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water, which I have already used & found it really effective at removing my eye makeup in just one swipe.

Eyes:

I had my eye on two palettes from tarte: Tartelette in Bloom and Rainforest of the Sea but the former was the only one in stock so that made the decision for me! There are 12 shadows in the palette, 9 of which are matte and all are very pretty colours. I have yet to use it but will be sure to report back and let you know my thoughts.

A splurge item that I hadn't planned on buying was the Viseart Neutral Matte eyeshadow palette. It was expensive, at $80, but I knew that I wouldn't have the opportunity to buy it at home and the colours are right up my street so into my basket it went! (My husband was very patient and kind and carried my basket for me without putting me under any pressure or hurrying me - he could see my excitement and was delighted for me to finally be in a Sephora!)

A single eyeshadow that I have wanted for a long time, but was always out of stock when I tried to buy it at home, was Urban Decay Riff, so I had to buy it when I saw that there was only one left! I took it as a sign and am delighted to finally have my hands on it!

I bought a Kat Von D Lock-It Color Correcting Eyeshadow Primer but returned it just wasn't strong enough for my oily eyelids. Instead, I bought a Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, which is a repurchase and the best eye primer I have ever used.

Also from Kat Von D, I bought the Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper. I already own her Ink Liner, but wanted to try the Tattoo Liner as I have very watery eyes so I want to see if this will work as well as my favourite Stila liner.

Finally for eyes, I bought two mascaras: Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant Mascara and Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara. I can't wait to try both!

Face:

The first thing I picked up was Urban Decay One & Done in the shade Medium. I know that we can buy this in Ireland but I didn't get to buy it before leaving and I think it will be the perfect summer base so I am looking forward to wearing it. I also picked up another base product: tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation. I have had my eye on this since it was released so I am excited to try it and will let you know my thoughts.

I picked up two concealers: bareMinerals Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer and a mini tube of Urban Decay Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer, which I already own but in the wrong shade!

In the "aisle of doom", I picked up two mini tubes of primer: MakeUp Forever Hydrating Primer and Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I'm unsure if the Hourglass will suit my dry skin but I wanted to give it a go anyway! Also from Hourglass, I bought a mini Ambient Lighting Powder in the shade Dim Light - this was another product that I have wanted to try for a while so when I saw a mini version, I jumped at the chance to buy it without having to pay too much.

I bought two blushes: a limited edition Nars Orgasm and BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in the shade Snapdragon. Orgasm is the only blush that I have ever finished so when I saw this larger size, I had to repurchase. The BECCA blush is smaller than I imagined it would be but the colour is really beautiful!

Lips:

I know a lot of people are going crazy for Anatasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks but I bought one when they were first released last year and found it to be very drying so I decided to buy two Lip Glosses instead as I already own one, which I love. I bought Dainty and Peony, both of which are perfect everyday wear as Dainty is a coral/nude and Peony is a pinky/nude.

I wanted to buy a Too Faced Matte Melted lipstick but most shades were out of stock so I bought one of the regular ones in the shade Chihuahua, which is a nice dusty mauve shade.

I bought another gloss, this time from tarte, one of their Glossy Lip Paints in the shade Goals, which is another nude. From Kat Von D, I bought an Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lovesick, which is another mauve/nude. Both Lolita and Lolita II were in stock but I didn't like them when I saw them in the flesh and I liked the tester of Melancholia but it was out of stock!

And because I didn't have enough glosses (!!) I bought a Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Laquer in the shade Love Buzz. I also wanted Sugar Sugar, but like so many other things I wanted, it was out of stock!

Miscellaneous:

I bought a travel size of Cinema Secrets brush cleaner, which I have wanted to try for a while because I don't have any instant brush cleaners.

I also bought two Sephora Pro Brushes: No 57 (concealer brush) and No 55 (foundation brush). I've heard great things about the Sephora Pro brushes so I am looking forward to using them.

If you have made it this far - well done! I would love to hear your thoughts on these products - have you tried any of them? I'm excited to start using all of these products and they will undoubtedly feature in posts over the coming weeks/months! What have you been buying recently? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
