My favourite single eyeshadows featuring Nars, Urban Decay and Seventeen

As you all know, I'm a big eyeshadow palette addict and it is rare that I buy any single eyeshadows but there are some exceptions to that & I'm going to share some of my favourites with you today. I have a lot of individual MAC eyeshadows but I depotted all of them and put them together in a palette so I don't count them as single eyeshadows.

On the left of the photo above is Nars Lola Lola, which is the only single Nars shadow that I own. It is a medium copper toned brown with a very faint shimmer and is perfect either as a crease shade or
as a one wash colour on the lids. I love how pigmented it is but also how buttery soft it is, which makes it easy to work with. I have green eyes and I love how it enhances the colour but I think it would look amazing with blue eyes too.

In the top middle of the photo is Urban Decay Diamond Dog, which is a really beautiful medium brown with a hint of grey and some very finely milled silver/champagne glitter. I spray my brush with Fix + before applying this shadow to prevent fallout and I just love how the glitter catches the light without being O.T.T. It is an unusual colour, which I think would flatter all eye colours.

In the bottom middle of the picture is Fishnet. I love a good purple eyeshadow because I think it works well with green eyes and one of my favourites is Fishnet from Urban DecayIt is a beautiful pinky purple with a shimmer finish. It is a very soft and smooth texture and is easy to work with. I like to wear this when I want a change from neutrals. I really like Urban Decay shadows and would probably buy more if they were better value, but at €18 each, I can't really justify it. Their palettes are amazing value though!

On the right is the least expensive of the bunch: Seventeen Mono Shadow in Rose Quartz, which I have mentioned several times on the blog, but with good reason! The packaging isn't great but at €4.89, I don't expect too much. The shadow itself is a beautiful shimmery taupe colour and it is just so, so soft in texture and is very pigmented. This is very easy to work with and I really need to pick up some more shadows from this range.

Have you tried any of these shadows? Do you prefer single shadows or palettes? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! I'd also love to know what your favourite single shadow is?
