Holiday make-up bag featuring MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Stila and more!

My holiday make-up bag contents have definitely changed over the years - back in the day when I went on girly holidays several times a year, I used to bring almost every item of make-up I owned and it included lots of glitter, shimmer and bronzer. My friends and I used to create a different make-up look every night and never missed a night out so we would need enough make-up with us to create 7 or 14 different looks, depending on how long we were away for. As the years progressed, I whittled my make-up choices down to products that would enhance my tan and suited my skin and overall look rather than what was on trend and more recently, it has been narrowed down even further because I don't wear any make-up for pool/beach days and because I am ill (and that doesn't change on holiday!), we rarely have a night out - it is generally just an evening meal and maybe a drink or two so I don't tend to go very O.T.T. with my make-up. This holiday is slightly different, however, because we are going to Disney World so we will be out & about during the day (albeit in a wheelchair for me) and there will be lots of photographs so I won't want to go bare-faced! I have been musing over what make-up products I will bring with me for the last few weeks and today I am going to share my picks with you.

Face:

To prime, I am bringing my trusty Clarins Beauty Flash Balm because it improves my skin no matter what concern I might have. I have blogged about this product many, many times before so I won't waffle on too much but although I own around 10 primers, this is the one I will always come back to. For foundation, I want something very light, so I am bringing Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder but I plan on buying either Urban Decay One and Done or IT Cosmetics CC cream when I get there so I will have another base option. To conceal, I am bringing Clarins Instant Concealer and might wear this product alone some days depending on how my skin is behaving. For bronzing/contouring/blush, I am bringing Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette in Streak because I love all three shades in there and it is compact; therefore travel-friendly. I am also taking Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop because it is just such a beautiful highlighter and looks even better when I have a little colour in my cheeks. Finally for my base, I am bringing a travel size bottle of Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to ensure that everything stays in place.

Eyes:

For my brows, I am bringing Urban Decay Brow Beater, which is very similar to Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and the reason I chose this one is that I am almost finished my Brow Wiz so I know I won't run out if I bring the Brow Beater. I have a sample tube of Too Faced eyeshadow primer, so I am taking that to save on space. If I decide to wear eye liner, then the obvious choice is Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner because I know that it won't budge. For mascara, I am taking Givenchy Noir Couture Waterproof Mascara. I am not the biggest fan of waterproof mascara but it will be a necessity on this holiday and I am hoping that I will still have the voluminous look that I like from this one. For eyeshadow, the obvious choice for me was the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette because I can create so many looks with this palette and the shadows are so pigmented and buttery soft, that it is a pleasure to use. I brought this palette on holiday last year too & loved it.

Lips:

I am only bringing one lipliner because it is the same shade as my lips so should pretty much go with all lip options and that is Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in the shade Pillow Talk. I am bringing three lipsticks: Clinique Wow Pop, which is a bright pink, MAC Costa Chic, which is a coral and YSL Rouge Volupte in #1 Nude Beige, which is the perfect pinky nude and I might bring Charlotte Tilbury Lost Cherry (not pictured) because I think it looks really good in summer - it is a red/pink hybrid. I will also bring Dior Addict Lip Glow for days when I can't be bothered to apply any colour.

I think that I have all bases covered with these products and I will undoubtedly be adding to my collection when I get there because I plan on having a spree in Sephora! I'd love to know what your holiday make-up essentials are and if there any products that you think I should bring? Please tell me in the comments below!
