I've gradually started to sort through my make-up collection & dig out some Spring appropriate products. I really love this time of year with the hope of sunny days to come (hope being the operative word because I live in Ireland!) and adding some more colour or pastels to my wardrobe. Today I am going to talk you through my current favourite lips products, that I am most likely to be wearing on rotation over the coming months!
Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid with Lemon Oil has been my go-to lip balm for around 4 months now and I can't see that changing any time soon. It is, without doubt, the best lip balm that I have ever used and my lips have been completely chap-free since I started to use it.
Instant Effects Instant Lip Plumper is a product that caught my eye when I spotted it in the 'New In' section on Cult Beauty so when I was offered the chance to try it, I was delighted. Don't get too excited & think that this will take the place of lip fillers if Kylie Jenner lips are your thing, however I have found that it smooths the lines on my lips and therefore, my lip products are applying very evenly and it also gives my lips a slightly fuller look. It doesn't sting like some previous lip plumping products I've tried so if fuller lips are your thing, it is worth buying!
Charlotte Tilbury Lost Cherry is from her Matte Revolution range, but don't let the word matte scare you because these matte lipsticks are actually quite creamy and non-drying. I love how vibrant this colour is - the pinky coral really lifts my complexion.
Charlotte Tilbury Between The Sheets is another lipstick from the Matte Revolution range, which was a limited edition shade. I love this for an easy, everyday lip colour. It goes with minimal make-up but also works well with a smoky eye, it has fast become one of my favourite lipsticks.
Clinique Pop Lip in Melon Pop - now this is a lipstick that I had my eye on for a few months last year before I actually bought it. It was actually late summer when I bought it so I knew at the time that it would probably be this Spring when I would actually get more use out of it because it is the perfect Spring shade. If you have yet to try any of the Clinique Lip Pop lipsticks, you are missing out because they are creamy, pigmented and long-lasting. I now own 7 shades because I love the formula so much!
MAC Please Me is another matte lipstick, but like the Charlotte Tilbury ones, I don't find it to be drying at all on the lips. It is a medium pink, very pigmented and lasts around 4/5 hours on lips depending on what I eat/drink. I think it is the perfect Spring pink!
MAC Ample Pink is a recent rediscovery for me and it has been in my handbag ever since. This is the perfect every day pinky-nude lip option. It works both day and night, no matter what the look. It gives a very glossy finish, is slightly sticky but that settles down, is very pigmented and for a gloss, lasts surprisingly well on the lips.
I would love to hear what your current favourite lip products are? Have you changed it up for Spring? Also, do you like the look of fuller lips? Are you tempted by fillers or would you give products like Instant Effects Lip Plumper a go? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Instant Effects Lip Plumper was sent to me along with some another product from the brand, but I have chosen to only blog about this product because I actually really like it and think it gives a good result. My opinion, as always, is entirely honest!
