My thoughts on some Omorovicza skincare products: Thermal Cleansing Balm, Queen of Hungary Mist, Refining Facial Polisher

Omorovicza is a brand that I mis-understood before I actually tried any products from them. I thought that the Deep Cleansing Mask would be too harsh and active for my dry, sensitive skin but when Blanche from The Beauty Bloss said that it would be in her Top Three Face Masks, I knew I had to try it because we like so many of the same skin care products. It was on sale at the time, so it was the best time to try it because Omorovicza products are pretty pricey. I was so surprised at how gentle the mask was and my skin loved it, didn't have any reaction and it has kept my skin congestion free so I decided to try the Thermal Cleansing Balm.

At the moment, I am taking a combination medications to treat my Chronic Lyme Disease and one of those is also used to treat acne, so my skin is much drier than it usually is and my normal skincare products just weren't cutting it. Since I have started to use Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm, my skin has been much softer and hydrated - it feels much more comfortable and doesn't have dry patches or tightness. I assumed that the word thermal in the title meant that this cleanser would heat on the skin, which I find too harsh for my sensitive skin but that is not the case. It is extremely gentle, yet very effective and doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped - just clean, soft & comfortable. I have about 7 different cleansers in my collection, but this is the only one that I have been using for the last month or so. Because I love these two products so much, I decided to try some more products from the brand.

I have heard so many people rave about the Queen of Hungary Mist, but it is usually youtubers who have been sent the product, so I was hesitant about buying it because I haven't read many reviews from people who bought it themselves. I wondered if it could possibly live up to its reputation, so I decided to buy the smaller 50ml bottle, rather than invest in the full size 100ml because it is so pricey. I use this after my acid toner to rehydrate my skin and I have to say, that I absolutely love this product - it really hydrates my skin and adds a dewiness, which I love. It is so refreshing and the nozzle delivers a very fine spray. I have tried a good number of hydrating sprays and this would be right up there with the best, however I love Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray equally as much and it is half the price!

Finally, I bought the Refining Facial Polisher. I usually use chemical exfoliants but there was something about this product that really appealed to me and sometimes I like physical exfoliants. This is a mask/exfoliant/peel hybrid and is one of those products that delivers instant results. The product itself is green in colour and I apply it after cleansing, massaging it in until it turns grey, then I leave it for two minutes before rinsing and hydrating with the Queen of Hungary Mist. My skin looks bright, refreshed and glowing after using this product. I am using it twice weekly at the moment and my skin is very happy.

Overall, I absolutely love these Omorovicza products. I cannot believe how wrong I was about this range. My sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin is loving these products. They are expensive, but I would recommend buying them when Feel Unique, Cult Beauty & Lookfantastic run their sales or send out discount codes because it makes them (slightly) more affordable.

I'd love to know if you have tried any Omorovicza products and what your thoughts are. Would you recommend any other products from the brand? I'd love to hear in the comments below.
